Your cart is empty.An easy but thorough cleaning of your whole trombone slide. The cleaning set is an effective combination of cleaning rod, towelling sheath and a short flexible brush. The complete set can be taken along in your trombone case or gigbag without any problems.Your trombone slide needs occasionally a quick dry clean, especially the outer slide. This can be practiced with the washable towelling sheath. Because the cleaning rod is completely covered by the sheath, the outer slide is protected against damages.For the periodical wet cleaning of the outer slide and the tubes of the inner slide, the short flexible brush can be screwed onto the cleaning rod. With this brush you also can clean the mouth pipe very intensive. To the buyer: beware! I only received the sheath and nothing more. This is falsely advertised in that it does not include the rod (with rubber tip), nor the scrub brush. It is not the 'system' as advertised - you guys should say that it is only the sheath for small-medium bore tenor bones.

Works well. Towel sheath makes it easier to thoroughly clean. I wash the sheath in laundry afterwards. Just a pretty nice set up.

Before receiving this, I had recently polished the inside of my outer tubes with Wright's brass creme (NOT Brasso) and cheesecloth. This had really improved my action. But after a few swipes with this guy, there was a noticable increase in slickness. Additionally, the included brush tip that screws onto the end provides a much better two way scrubbing than the one way snake. Together they will make future care easier, faster and more effective.
