Made of hard plastic that doesn't conform. these are made by Sheperd Good enough but I'd prefer the ones I've used before

I installed a new toilet, then realized it would rock side to side when I sat down on it. Instead of dealing with leveling the floor I just slipped one of these on one side.... Problem solved!

Wedges are great value but could be more useful if the leading edge were sharper. These wedges won't fit under slight out of level situations.

Small, simple, but made my life better. I used these to help level my slightly wobbly toilet seat. Worked great for that purpose. I used three on one side of the seat and that was sufficient to stop any movement. I didn't use any caulk or adhesive to keep them in place. I used a utility knife/blade to score them and broke off the part sticking out.

I am currently using these in a few places around my house to stabilize my furniture and keep it from tipping forward, so far it's worked well and everything feels very sturdy. My house has a problem to things near the walls in my house tip forward slightly due to some building problems, so these have really helped me be able to place my furniture where I want without it being a safety hazard.

We own a lovely round tiger oak clawfoot dining table which began to "list to port" over the years. As much as I love that old table it was making me crazy. My husband and I simply could not figure out what was making it lean, so we had no idea how to fix it. We just found ourselves more and more frustrated and miserable as we sadly watched pens, pencils, straws, batteries, etc. roll off the table and onto the floor. I had pretty much reached a point where I was going to put it on Craigslist and beg someone to come take it off my hands. And then I came across these little plastic shims and read how they were working so fabulously well for so many people. I wasn't even aware these things existed, but at 3 bucks a set I was more than happy to give them a try. Folks, they worked BEAUTIFULLY. We slipped them under two of the clawfoot sections and voila! Our table was instantly level and utterly non-moving. It was like magic. I am loving my table again and plan to buy 3 or 4 more sets of these shims just to keep on hand in case anything else ever starts wobbling, leaning, or listing around here. Two thumbs WAY up!

I just got these yesterday & immediately put them in place. I had been using socks (yes, I'm hanging my head in shame on that one. Lol) to level bookshelves I had in my place (on carpet) because my floor isn't completely level. I had been meaning to replace them with something that wasn't an obvious eyesore. I had considered wooden shims, however I'm glad I decided to purchase the plastic ones. My book shelves hold quite a few heavy books, and I wonder if the wooden ones would have been able to handle the weight.I had four corners that needed to be leveled, so I decided to purchased two packs to be on the safe side. I'm glad I did, because I had to double the plastic shims (and when I say double I mean I used two sets of two) under each corner. Fortunately, it's easy to double the shins to achieve whatever level suits you. Keep in mind if what you're trying to level out is extremely heavy, you're probably going to need to double them as well. Granted it has only been one day, but thus far I'm pleased. The were as advertised and are doing their job. I'll update this review if something changes.

Who knew these things were made? These are sturdy non-crushable white plastic shims. I use them to level the water fountain we have in back. These would be brilliant to have in your pocket when you go out -- who hasn't gotten a restaurant table with a wobble? These let you squash that minor annoyance. A clever, simple tool. Very nicely made, not shoddy at all.
