Mat D is very thick / definitely temperature resistant and large enough for most any project. The compartments and tool depressions are cool, the magnets work well, and the ton of numbered areas for parts/screws are great for organizing. The metal spool holder is a godsend, it works so very well for solder or even de-soldering wick, which fits perfectly by the way. De-soldering wick also fits really well in the small circular depressions. The metal sponge holder is a nice touch although I don’t use it- I wish there was a larger space for a brass sponge but that’s so specific I can’t complain. Overall, for $12, I don’t think there is better value anywhere on any site.

Gone are the days of burning tables, towels, and damaging equipment while trying to solder. Now I see how I should be properly doing soldering projects at home. Very useful and flexible to stay on any surface.

Die größte Lötmatte zu einem angemessenen Preis, die momentan verfügbar ist.Sehr gut geeignet für Lötarbeiten mit dem Lötkolben oder Heißluft Föhn. Hat auch beim berühren mit der 400 grad heißen Spitze gehalten.

Not sure what I was expecting but this mat is highly static, attracts a ton of dust. It's very 'sticky'. Yes, a clean rinse in water will get rid of that but it's irratating.On a positive note, it's silicone so heat resistant. And was inexpensive.

These mats are being sold with the idea that you use them for soldering work. I've no doubt they will do that quite well. I'm using mine to do watch repair. The make up of the silicone material the mat is made of works really well to dampen the distance that the small parts I'm dealing with can travel when they come loose with unexpected velocity and ability to really travel far! It also is very kind to the exterior of the watch cases, causing no scratches, mars, dents or blemishes. There's also the added bonus of it helping to "hold" a watch in place while working on it by deforming slightly with a little pressure and adding to the grip with a slight tackiness. It's been very easy to clean with either alcohol or simply some water and a towel. The little "cubbies" molded into the mat actually are helpful as places to temporarily hold the parts and tiny, tiny screws used in all watches during disassembly and reassembly. For the price this is one of the best "tools" I've ever purchased.

Comes with some tools and anti static wrist band, size is good for my purposes. Haven’t tested durability or heat resistance as yet. Overall happy!
