So much easier to use than a traditional shaker. Totally worth the price. Works great, stays sealed and comes apart easily. We've only hand washed so can't comment about how it might do in a dishwasher - we're not going to take the chance.

Although it took a little bit to get used to how the screw-top works (and how it can stick somewhat) - I'm really happy with the design and it does not leak. So I definitely recommend and give full 5-stars.

I've used a lot of other cocktail shakers, but I love this one best, so much so that I got one for my BFF. It's insulated so it's not freezing cold on your hands. The lid screws off easily so you don't have to pry it apart and then have the drink fly out everywhere. It has a built in strainer, and the little cap is marked for 1 oz and 2 oz shots. They thought of everything, and it comes in pretty colours and patterns with a glossy finish! I highly recommend it for anyone who likes mixing cocktails. This shaker is next level

This shaker makes a great conversation piece at any gathering. Color and pattern are beautiful. Been whipping up batches of espresso martinis in this thing and the foam it makes on top is just perfect. Also since it’s insulated it doesn’t make your hands freezing cold while you’re shaking it!

this is a great cocktail shaker. Lid stays on-but is easy to take off as it screws on and off. Its easy to clean. and the sides don't get cold because of the material the shaker is constructed of. Yes please

I love simple modern brand and this shaker keeps my hands from getting cold when I’m making drinks and for that I would buy it 10 more times. Also love this sea moss color.

I have ordered Simple Modern products in the past and love them. We have several of their tumblers, travel mugs and stainless steel stemless wine tumblers. Everything has been fantastic quality and this cocktail shaker is no exception. I typically use the two stainless steel cup type cocktail shakers. I have tried this type before in other brands but they always leak and are of poor quality. I thought I would try one more time with this brand because I have always been happy with it. I am very impressed. I ordered the black leopard print shaker and it looks exactly as pictured. It's nice and heavy/solid. Very well made. The seal around the lid and strainer is nice and tight. No leaks even when shaking. The top has a 1 oz. marking so it can be used as a jigger too. It says that it's dishwasher safe but it's so cute that I am going to hand wash it just to protect the finish. Love, love, love it!!

I picked this shaker up because I wanted to have a cobbler style shaker. In that regard, the shaker works just fine. Seals fine and strains fine. However, this is a vacuum insulated shaker and I found that it's going to have an issue that ALL insulated shakers are going to have. While it's nice to have insulation to keep your hands from getting cold, the same feature is going to keep your ice from melting. Anyone who knows cocktail making knows that dilution is part of the point of mixing/shaking your cocktail. Bartenders call it "cooking". So this means that when you use this shaker, you are going to have to shake/stir your cocktails for a good deal longer than normal, otherwise your cocktails will come out tasting much stronger than they normally would with a regular shaker. You could of course resolve this by adding a splash of water to the shaker.
