Your cart is empty.Available in 2U, 3U, 4U, 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U sizes, SKB Standard Roto Racks are roto-molded of Polyethylene (LLDPE) for extra strength and durability. The exteriors feature SKB's recognizable bar design that signifies the rack unit size on the front and rear lids. Molded bars on top and bottom also provide interlocking capabilities allowing you to easily and securely stack them with SKB's Shallow Racks and Roto Rolling Racks, making transport even more convenient and secure. Lids include rubber gasket seals to keep water out. Other standard features include front and rear steel threaded rails and rack screws (10-32 thread), recessed steel Mil-Spec twist latches, flush carry handles, and non-slip rubber feet. All Standard Roto Racks are 17.6” deep from front rail to rear rail.

Bought this since I've outgrown an old 6U Roto Rack. The older molded case handles are very sturdy, the current case handles are lighter but seem adequate. No problem mounting audio equipment, but the screw holes didn't line up for a rack shelf and a Redco panel mounting bracket. Unlike the old 6U rack, when the front cover is off this new rack most of the knobs are behind the edges of the rack opening, providing more protection.

I love this rack. The material keeps my rack as light as possible but is still very strong. Sometimes if I load too much equipment up on top of it in the van the top side warps down a little bit, but so far it returns to it's normal shape after the weight has been lifted off. I love all of the SKB Roto Molded products and use a variety of them. Also convenient that it is a square shape with no too rounded edges for convenient packing purposes.

I've purchased several SKB racks. This one holds up ok, but already after a month it has extreme scratches and deep gouges. Doesn't seem as well made as past SKB models. Price was ok, and the gear is safe so far. We will see how it holds up long term.
