My dog is a VERY picky eater and doesn’t like most dog food! But he likes this one. It’s on the pricier side but is worth it if he will eat it! It contains as much as a large dog food can holds. Certainly smells good! And I’m happy to find a dog food that he likes and will eat!

I really like all of the Solid Gold products I have given to my dogs, so I was happy to let them try this one out too. With multiple large dogs in my house, it isn't feasible to serve this as their meal, but it makes a great food topper for us. I have one dog that will eat anything (and everything), so I am not worried about him, but I have another that is very picky. Sometimes it takes a bit of encouragement to get him to start eating his meals. This is where a tasty meal topper comes in handy. I use just a bit of this on top of the dry food to encourage him to eat. It has worked great and he seems to really enjoy it. I am happy with the ingredients and quality of this food. The bag is clearly labeled with all of the information I look for; ingredients, guaranteed analysis, calorie content, manufacturing information, feeding guidelines and expiration date. Solid Gold is a company I have come to trust for food and treats for my dogs, and they did not disappoint with this product. The bags of food are resealable, which is nice, but I don't find it to be all that easy of a delivery system. Once you get some of the food out of the bag, it is likely to leave some mess on the seals, so it just doesn't close all that well. I find it easiest to dump the whole package into a different bowl to store the remainder in the refrigerator, but that may just be a personal preference. Overall, I am very happy with this product and would consider it again in the future.

First two ingredients are beef and chicken. The next ingredients are some nice side helpings of pumpkin (for digestion), rice, and carrots - all things that my babies love.What I love about wet food, and perhaps this is true for many pet owners, is that it is so convenient when time doesn't permit for cooking and putting together meals for the pups. Normally, the girls get eggs, beef, and cooked green beans or peas for breakfast and then a spoonful of pumpkin or sweet potatoes with chicken or tuna, cooked carrots or broccoli and all topped with kibble (for the crunch). Most days I can pull this off for four pups, but some days I'm tired and it's all I can do to try and keep a healthy and filling meal on the menu for all of us.Thank goodness for wholesome and affordable wet food.Compared to this brand's canned products, the bag is a different meal delivery vehicle that comes in handy if there is any wet food to put in the fridge. My household does not have that problem since a bag will feed all four of my pups in one meal when added with kibble. Of course I expected them to gobble it all up, and they held to my prediction. In fact, there were some after-meal burps and chop-licking that made me a little jealous because I don't get the same feedback when I do the cooking. Haha.In any event, Solid Gold is a solid product and with all of the different products, one cannot go wrong with this brand. Our girls love all they have to offer, and I have yet to see one of them walk away from a bowl of Solid Gold.

Solid Gold Homestyle Meals Healthy Dog Food Topper - Soft Dog Food Made with Real Chicken for Picky Eaters -I'm super impressed with this dog food/topper. I have a picky eater but she devours her food when I top the bowl with this. They did a good job with this product from the packaging to the quality. Solid Gold has been a brand I've generally trusted but I hadn't tried their wet woods.The food looks similar to canned dog foods. There are visible vegetables mixed in. The ingredient list looks good to me and chicken is the first ingredient. The bag says it can be used as a stand-alone food or a topper. Since I have a fairly large dog it just wouldn't be practical to use this as a stand-alone. I use about a half cup of this and mix it with dry food. I was having a difficult time getting her to eat 2x a day and I have an active dog.The way the bags are designed is nice. I prefer this over a can. The bags are resealable and fit well in the refrigerator. The only negative to the bag is that it can be a little tricky to get the last bits of food out of the bag. The only thing I find a little odd is that the food is made in Thailand and not in the USA. It's the one aspect I find off-putting but I would assume most dog foods aren't fully made in the USA.Overall this food has made a huge difference in my dog's appetite. I will be switching her over to this from the canned wet food we were using from a different brand. My pup is now excited again when I feed her. The price point is higher than canned wet foods but not so much that it would sway me from using the product. This is worth a try if you have a picky eater.

This wet dog food was a bit with my 3 pups. It comes in an easy to tear pouch. The food actually smells good and has an assortment of chicken, rice, and vegetables. We use it as a meal for our dogs and it fills them up. They've had no issues when switching to this food.

I've used several Solid Gold products and as yet have not been disappointed. Once again, this dog food exceeded my expectations. The ingredients are great and it smells good enough for human consumption (they do list it as human grade ingredients).The only drawback is the price. For the amount of food you receive the price is much too high for regular food for my two dogs. I use it for a food topper instead. My dogs love it and I'll be purchasing again in the future.
