I've read poor reviews on this cabinet and almost didn't purchase. Am I glad I took a chance. Great cabinet, once loaded built like a tank. Soft close drawer. Some said you can't use the drawer if the bottom rack is used, I put my power supply down there and the drawer cleared fine.I would purchase more Sound Town Gear!!

The wood pieces are finished very nicely and over all the case quite sturdy but the pieces do not fit together seamlessly and there is a lot of play in the drawer. The drawer is a hole is also very awkward and renders the bottom three units fairly useless even my smallest rack unit will not fit. If you are planning on filling this entire case, I recommend finding a unit without a drawer or going with a larger unit cause their rack space that they mention is misleading.

Perfect style, & function. I read reviews that said the screws didn't fit. Well, the screws are self-tapping & work amazing and are fully functional. If notice is taken to look at the screws from the end of the bolt towards the head, you will see that the bolt is not round but a triangle shape. Also, this product is well crafted, & beautiful to look at. Thanks so much "Sound Town" If I ever need anything else in pro-audio, you're my first choice!

As the title says, it seems to be made from decent, quality materials and assembly was easy. It feels solid. I think it looks good too. However, I ordered the slanted 8 unit with bottom drawer, and because of the the design, it really only has 7 usable rack spaces. I don't know what kind of super shallow gear would fit in the 8ths space, but none of mine would. Other than that, thumbs up.

This a great product BUT my amps sticks out way too much!! I'll have to return it unfortunately!

I am pleasantly surprised how nice this thing is. At this price point, I was willing to settle for low-quality but functional. The rack was packed well and arrived in excellent condition. It took maybe about 45 minutes to assemble. My gear went in easily. This rack looks great in my modest, semi-pro home studio. The wood has a nice finish. It's sturdy. Casters are good quality, and they lock or roll easily.

I have an Output Platform desk and was looking for a decently matching side table that was less expensive than the "Sidecar" Output offers. This is a pretty close color match for the finish of my desk and a very good match aesthetically. I'm very happy with it, especially for the price but there are a few compromises:1. The plywood is much thinner than the Platform, and it seems at least the top on mine is quite a bit less flat. I have a small mixer on top of it and had to move it around to find a spot where it didn't wobble.2. The design really depends on having something mounted in the rack at the top and near the bottom for stability - otherwise it has a bit of back and forth wobble. This probably isn't an issue for most people, but I only have one rack mount unit towards the top so it felt a bit unstable. I just added a blank at the bottom and it feels much better.3. Assembly was easy, but I had some issues with getting the drawer to seat without way more force than I felt comfortable applying. It's not the best drawer hardware, but does seem to be working reasonably smoothly now.I reached out to their support email about the drawer problem and they were very responsive and helpful. I have no doubt that if I needed a new part they would have sorted it for me without issue.Overall would definitely recommend.

Very nice unit overall, materials are good for the price point, build quality seems fine, and it is attractive in-person. As others have noted the very bottom space isn’t really useable as any gear placed there would impede or touch the bottom drawer, so it should really be billed as 7 spaces, not 8. Instructions were terrible as I’ve come to expect from most stuff you have to assemble yourself. All in all I am happy with the unit.

The racks are well made; at a very reasonable price. Might order a third one later. I strongly recommend

Perfect for the studio and rehearsal space! The instructions weren’t that good , but it came together nicely, not as precise as a hand built cabinet but for a lazer it’s great. The sockets go into metal teeth so it holds together nicely, just make sure to back screw so you don’t strip it for later tear down and build. I was able to put a 30lbs power amp at the bottom , couldn’t use very last rack or the drawer wouldn’t work, but this cabinet isn’t designed for super heavy and long rack units; perfect for modern effects and routing. Would buy again.
