I love these and have them in almost every room in my house. You do need to think a bit about placement so they don't shine in your eyes in the bedrooms but I love them. Makes walking through the house at night much safer. Have them in the outlet need the bottom of my stairs, in my office, in all the bedrooms, and my living room. Enough light to keep you out of trouble.

I bought a 4 pack thinking they would be dim and I would need multiple. Not the case. I installed one in the edge of my hallway and it shines a path across my living room to my kitchen as well as down the hall for my kiddos to see the way to the bathroom. Very impressive! The only downside is that since they are in a hallway, they don't get enough light to shut off, so the light is on 24/7.

These outlets work fantastically for me. I have only had them installed a couple of weeks, however so far so good. They have replaced receptacles where I had nightlights installed so now both outlets are free to use. the light is not too bright which may be an issue for some people, but when it is very dark, it gives plenty of light to see. I also like the fact that the light points down to the ground and not lighting up the whole room. Currently I have them installed in the hallway by the stairs and in the windowless mud room, so when entering from the garage, you can see what is in the room before opening the door revealing shoes you dont want to trip on.

We thought this would be a great idea in our hallway and it 100% does its job. Very happy with the brightness level, very happy with the ease of installation (takes all of 15 minutes).This thing would be a 5 star except, it does require a fair amount of bright light to turn off. Our hallway is kind of dim, but I was hoping it would stay off in some light and only turn on in almost complete darkness. It basically stays on for us all the time because it is in a moderately dim area. Might have to go another route because of that but we shall see.Otherwise if you have a well lit area during the day but just want some light at night this is absolutely great.

Having a light in the plug in receptacle is FABULOUS! I thought they were the plat type. They are not. You need to be handy and wiring to re-wire and install this. But once installed they are FABULOUS! I love that I can easily walk around and I have the safety of light to see where i am going. One of the best inventions ever! Love it!

I am very pleased with these outlets! I bought them to go in my basement that I just finished this year, and they turned out even better than I thought. They are activated by darkness and turn off automatically when the room lights are on. I strategically placed them around the room to help light the main theater room and to light the hallway, as well, and they are not too bright to disrupt watching a movie, but are plenty bright to see your way down the hall to the other room or to the bathroom. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for something that won’t be too bright, but will give sufficient light to your family room or theater room to see your way out with a movie going.

Good price for a 4 pack and love the tamper resistant. Running for 2 weeks now, and still good (installed 2 only). Only negative is light bleeding through the outlets and not just the light “port”. But otherwise, easy to install and all working as advertised

These wall plug in outlets are the best plug ins I’ve ever had. They have a built in night light. I have them all over my kitchen and have them installed through out my place. Even in the bedrooms. The nice glow is perfect for dark areas.

We were so happy with the 8 we bought, we ordered 8 more. They have a nice clean look to them once installed and give out a great light pattern. Very subtle but very useful in our dark house at night. The only negative that wasn't really a factor is that the wires can either be installed on the screw or inserted into a hole in the back of the plug. Many of the plugs I could not push the wire into the hole as it was closed off so had to side wire it onto one of the screws. Took a little longer but it was worth the time. It was nice having the plate covers included and they all went on with no problem. I highly recommend them!
