About this item

  • SAFE, EASY & EFFECTIVE: Safely introduce your infant to the 3 top baby food allergens with our powdered eggs, peanut, and milk packets. Per doctor recommendations, our Stage 1 system offers gradual, one-at-a-time exposure starting at 4 months old.
  • NO ADDED SUGAR & ORGANIC: Each individual packet is made with simple ingredients: organic peanut, egg, and milk, and can be added to baby formula, breastmilk, or infant food. The NIH, USDA & FDA all recommend that kids under 2 not be given ANY added sugars. Just real, organic food.
  • CONVENIENT: Ready. Set. Food! Stage 1 Mix-ins make introductions simple and stress-free. Daily pre-measured packets, labeled Day 1 to 30, can be added to your infant baby food or bottle.
  • MADE BY AN ALLERGIST-MOM OF 2: Our system follows USDA & pediatrician-recommended guidelines for early and gradual baby allergen introduction using the same allergens & amounts used in clinical trials.
  • BABY FOOD WITH A PURPOSE: Ready. Set. Food! offers a research-based, 4-stage system to introduce your little one to the most common allergens, maintain their exposure to build tolerance, grow exposure to additional allergens, and thrive through continued exposure and diet diversity!
  • This product is not intended for use by infants who have been diagnosed with food allergies.

  • Ready. Set. Food! is the best option for introducing allergens because we make the process simple. It is important for early allergen introduction for parents to frequently feed allergenic foods such as peanut, egg, and milk to their babies.

  • The 2020 USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans and other prominent medical associations (NIH, AAP, AAAAI) recommend starting babies as early as 4 months of age with food allergen introduction.

  • We recommend starting the Stage 1 introduction, and Stage 2 for continued exposure together anytime between 4 - 12 months of age. You should sustain exposure to Stage 2 for at least 2 months.

  • Yes, Ready. Set. Food! Stage 1 Mix-Ins starts with peanut, egg, and milk, introducing a low dose of each allergen, one at a time before slowly increasing to the maintenance amount used in the clinical studies.

  • Ready. Set. Food! is a guided system to make early allergen introduction safe, easy and convenient. Each daily pre-measured packet mixes easily in a bottle or food. Just shake or stir until dissolved and feed one packet daily.

I bought this for my baby boy to introduce allergens even though he had already been eating everything. For some reason AFTER introducing these my baby started to have itchy face bumps when he drank them and then he had an allergic reaction to peanut. I have pictures of him consuming peanut with no issues before these. He had eaten thai peanut skewers, pb&js, pb ice cream, everything. But not long after starting these BAM an allergic reaction that had me take him in. Now we have to travel with an epi pen. My pediatrician says it was strange Allergist said it can happen and that they've heard of other similar cases. I'd steer clear. I know allergies can take weeks or even months to show based on how much your kid has had, but I know that we had no issues before introducing these, no indication of anything wrong. I'd steer clear

I love that these are organized by when to give them to your child - we were very nervous about trying peanuts with our son so these made us more comfortable

Great concept and mostly going well with our five month old. As others have mentioned the system is slightly flawed in that all allergens are packaged together after day 5, so if baby is already allergic to one, the rest is of the system is useless. Thankfully we haven’t had that issue, but once we got to the stage where peanut was added it started clogging the bottles. No matter how well we shake the bottle, it doesn’t fully dissolve into the milk. You can see the sediment particles on the bottom. Packaging says it’s best with size 1 nipples or higher. We’re using 1s, and we have a few different bottle brands. They all get clogged with this product. Keep having to pull the bottle away and swish it around to get the sediment out of the way. Which makes for a very frustrated baby. Going to try size 2 nipples. Hopefully that will be better.UPDATE: Size 2 nipples are better, but still not great. I’ve found how I prep the bottle helps. I add the packet to 2oz warm water, shake vigorously, then add formula powder. Still clogs the bottle a bit, especially near the end of the bottle because the sediment settles to the bottom. Overall still happy with it, but can’t wait until he’s eating solids so I can add it to those.

As a first time mother this has made the transition into allergens a breeze. So far no reactions which gives me the confidence to start adding in foods to his diet! Will buy again for our next baby

Love it! We bought these when my son was born and just bought them for my daughter. It brings me peace of mind that it slowly introduces these foods that have large allergies. My son has no allergies hoping my daughter does too

I have family members with allergies which is a pain to deal with. Allergic reactions were scary when we were kids and nowadays I can't eat pizza or ice scream with the family. So I bought this as a gift for some friends who had a baby recently. Seemed like a more thoughtful and practical gift than a stuffed animal. It was on Shark Tank too which is fun to mention! I'm not exactly sure how old their baby is. How late is too late to start Ready, Set, Food!?It came in two nice looking boxes that aren't too big. I have a bunch of friends who are allergic to milk who are starting to have babies. Looks like I have a go-to gift ready.
