I bought this for my baby boy to introduce allergens even though he had already been eating everything. For some reason AFTER introducing these my baby started to have itchy face bumps when he drank them and then he had an allergic reaction to peanut. I have pictures of him consuming peanut with no issues before these. He had eaten thai peanut skewers, pb&js, pb ice cream, everything. But not long after starting these BAM an allergic reaction that had me take him in. Now we have to travel with an epi pen. My pediatrician says it was strange Allergist said it can happen and that they've heard of other similar cases. I'd steer clear. I know allergies can take weeks or even months to show based on how much your kid has had, but I know that we had no issues before introducing these, no indication of anything wrong. I'd steer clear

I love that these are organized by when to give them to your child - we were very nervous about trying peanuts with our son so these made us more comfortable

Great concept and mostly going well with our five month old. As others have mentioned the system is slightly flawed in that all allergens are packaged together after day 5, so if baby is already allergic to one, the rest is of the system is useless. Thankfully we haven’t had that issue, but once we got to the stage where peanut was added it started clogging the bottles. No matter how well we shake the bottle, it doesn’t fully dissolve into the milk. You can see the sediment particles on the bottom. Packaging says it’s best with size 1 nipples or higher. We’re using 1s, and we have a few different bottle brands. They all get clogged with this product. Keep having to pull the bottle away and swish it around to get the sediment out of the way. Which makes for a very frustrated baby. Going to try size 2 nipples. Hopefully that will be better.UPDATE: Size 2 nipples are better, but still not great. I’ve found how I prep the bottle helps. I add the packet to 2oz warm water, shake vigorously, then add formula powder. Still clogs the bottle a bit, especially near the end of the bottle because the sediment settles to the bottom. Overall still happy with it, but can’t wait until he’s eating solids so I can add it to those.

As a first time mother this has made the transition into allergens a breeze. So far no reactions which gives me the confidence to start adding in foods to his diet! Will buy again for our next baby

Love it! We bought these when my son was born and just bought them for my daughter. It brings me peace of mind that it slowly introduces these foods that have large allergies. My son has no allergies hoping my daughter does too

I have family members with allergies which is a pain to deal with. Allergic reactions were scary when we were kids and nowadays I can't eat pizza or ice scream with the family. So I bought this as a gift for some friends who had a baby recently. Seemed like a more thoughtful and practical gift than a stuffed animal. It was on Shark Tank too which is fun to mention! I'm not exactly sure how old their baby is. How late is too late to start Ready, Set, Food!?It came in two nice looking boxes that aren't too big. I have a bunch of friends who are allergic to milk who are starting to have babies. Looks like I have a go-to gift ready.
