The signature black matte surface is perfect for searing succulent pork chops and browning buttery pancakes. Cooking for a crowd is a cinch with the large surface area, which lets chefs cook multiple ingredients at the same time. This versatile griddle pan allows you to cook entire meals in one pan, so you can avoid dirtying numerous dishes. Super-long handles encourage easy maneuvering. The raised sides prevent fat and juices from running off the pan, ensuring the most tender, moist meat around.

I have far too many Staub products which I think are fantastic, but this one does not hold up. I specifically bought it to replace a Colophon non-stick griddle that I loved, but had seen better days. I thought I would try the Staub griddle given all my previous success. Every time I have tried to make hotcakes it has been OK at best. I first tried it just as it is and everything stuck; I then used Pam and sprayed the griddle and it worked much better, but I found I needed to keep spraying to keep the non-stick. I am sure I will get better at this, but at this price point, I expected better/easier. I am not sure I would recommend this, but any other Staub coquette, dutch over I would recommend without hesitation.

Got it for my daughter for Christmas. She’s a chef and she just loves it. It’s beautiful and functional. Works perfect on double induction cooktop. Heats evenly. Worth the price for the quality.

Bought this Staub griddle as a gift as I already own one and love it. It may seem small but is actually the perfect size for 2 burners. The griddle is very versatile from breakfast items such as pancakes to dinner items. Highly recommend

I purchased this griddle pan in Sept 2021 through Amazon warehouse. Came in perfect condition at a discount. I had gone through 2 prior griddles from other brands that warped and lost non stick. This Staub Plancha is solid and performs awesome. I make pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grilled cheese, grilled hotdogs, burgers, and cook chicken breast on it just to name a few. It cooks wonderfully once you get used to how high to make the flame, for gas I use low to medium, once heated up its hot and maintains the heat. Clean up is not an issue. I let the pan cool down. If it has stuck on residue I run very hot water over it and then use a plastic bristled scrub brush and it all comes off easy. No warping and no rust is the best part. Love this griddle.

Got mine today and decided to cook dinner on it. As I have Zwilling & Staub cookware, I only put a drizzle of oil on it. Heated up nice. Flipped the pork chops and all was fine. When they were finished, noticed residue on surface. Part of the chop cooked into the surface. I let it cool down and washed as instructed. Caked on food would not come off without a lot of work. Very disappointed. I understood it was not non-stick, but residue was worse than a plain frypan. Very disappointed that it was so hard to clean. Staub is not always the best.

I bought this as an impulse buy….although it’s beautiful, I’m not sure it’s worth the over $300 price tag. After considering this and the fact I already have a panini maker that converts into a flat top, I returned it.It is very well made!

Bought the Staub la Plancha as it seemed to be the only griddle that was suitable for Induction. Was very much looking forward to it, but when we received it, noticed a dent that seemed to be a manufacturing defect. Returned it and asked for a replacement which Amazon turned around very quickly. When we received the new one, noticed that in fact it had about 8 indentation defects. Seem there is a real Quality Control issue with Staub. I could understand the occasional defect, but 2 in a row?. Not what one expects for a product that sells for $200. Needless to say- returned it for refund..

I purchased this item Thee months ago to use on my new induction Frigidaire induction range. I use it 3-5 times a week. I have cooked six pork chops at one time and roasted vegetables in the oven on this cookware. Cleaning has become easier. The information says that seasoning is not necessary. However, I researched how chefs care for cast iron. After each use, I clean this griddle with salt, water and a nonabrasive sponge. I put a thin coat of oil (avocado) and put it on the double burners for a few minutes to smoke while I am cleaning the kitchen. My eggs actually slide around. You can see what a large surface this is. I am glad I bought this.

Cast iron Staub. Yes it is twice as expensive as aluminum with Teflon coated surface but it will last a lifetime whereas Teflon surfaces erode very quickly. Excellent heat distribution and easy cast iron cleaning. Fits GE gas cooktop, great width and acceptable length with a little play in fitment. Highly recommend.
