Maybe mine was dull but this device did not cut 8 sheets. It didn’t even cut resume paper. Swingline also does not make replacement blades for this, I was going to buy new blades but just decided to return since throwing more money at it was not going to work.

Once you figure it out, it's a nice space-saving tool. But it is confusing at first for someone like me who is spatially terrible and so I did mess up some photos until I realized what I was doing wrong. Once I did though, it worked as at it should Basically, figuring out the cut line was harder on this than on other ones I have used.
