The Swisher 52 in. 14.5 HP (603cc) electric start Trailcutter is perfect for any big mowing job. This rough cut mower is designed to dramatically reduce mowing time. The Swisher Trailcutter easily attaches to your ATV or lawn tractor and is the ultimate time saver for large jobs. This model will cut brush up to 3 in. in diameter. The 2 in. ball coupler adjusts left to right for easy mowing navigation. It features four inset, 13x5x6 puncture resistant hollowmatic tires that won't go flat in rough terrain, two heavy-duty swinging blades and a 3 point cutting height adjustment of 4, 5.5, 7 in. The relocated battery and solenoid keeps them protected from elements and potential damage. Enjoy tool-free access to battery, solenoid and wiring. I purchased the 60” (Briggs and Stratton engine) on October 5th 2022 with delivery a week or so after. In the less than 2 years I’ve owned it I believe I’ve only used it a couple dozen times. If it has been 30 times I’d be surprised. In this time I’ve had the drive belt break 3 times, the deck belt 2 times, one of the deck adjusting screws broke at the weld, deck adjuster washer split in 3 pieces, and replaced multiple parts for the engagement lever/spindle that wore out due to the design. I expected more out of a $4k American made mower that is less than 2 years old. I can not recommend this mower as it sits broken more than usable.
