I use them to polish metal. They do wear out quickly but no faster than the Dremel brand that I used previously. Likely fantastic for wood, but does work on metal at a reduced lifespan. Still giving 5 stars because performance is same as brand name and costs less.

The sand set is perfect for detailed sanding projects! The 240 grit is fine enough for smooth finishes, and the included mandrels fit my Dremel perfectly. With 100 drums in the pack, I feel well-equipped for any job. They’re durable and effective definitely a great buy for me.

OK I looked all over my local hardware stores and they had a pack of like three or four for five dollars. This is a huge pack and what a great price. The quality is good and they are just as good as the expensive brands.

These are not that great for finishing as grit seems more like 80 to me. But if you need aggressive wheels it’s a good value.

These seem to be roughly as good as the Dremel branded sanding drums I get from the hardware store, and are massively cheaper. They last a similar amount of time, and seem to be consistent from one drum to the next. I'm a bladesmith, and these come in handy for cleaning up choils and other handle details. They work well enough on very dense hardwoods, including katalox, ebony, and lignum, as well as annealed and hardened blade steel. An individual drum might not last long for hard use, but with a pack of 100 and using a quick-change mandrel, I'm not too fussed. And, they last as long as Dremel branded drums, as far as I can tell.Very good value.
