About this item

  • This is NOT a disinfecting device, it simply helps you service your fresh water supply MUCH EASIER! No mess, No fuss, No spilling, No waste and No cleanup.
  • Maintaining your RV fresh water tank much easier.
  • No moving parts needed, No reduced water restrictions, No assembly, ready to use, lasts for a lifetime
  • DON'T BE MISLEAD, an in-line filter does not remove or kill bacteria, algae or mold. Only bleach is the proven method. Adding a sanitizer to your fresh water supply to FRESHEN your fresh water only disguises the problem and smell of bacteria. If you can drink it and its not harmful to your health, it's not killing your bacteria, it only disguises the smell. Only bleach or 90% alcohol kills the bacteria, coronavirus, mildew and algae in your tank.
  • NOTE: THE HOSES MUST BE SCREWED IN TIGHT AND THE TWO HOSE WASHERS MUST BE INSERTED INTO THE CANISTER.

CONSIDER THIS would you brush your teeth knowing your fresh water supply was contaminated? Would you take a shower knowing your fresh water was contaminated? Would you do your dishes knowing your fresh water is contaminated? If you answered NO to any of the questions THEN you need the RV INLINE SANITIZER. What are the perfect breeding grounds for bacteria? DARK, SHADED NONVENTILATED HEATED areas, YES, your water lines and holding tank ARE the perfect location for bacteria to grow, that’s why the RV Association suggests you sanitize your fresh water tank and water lines twice a season. Our RV INLINE SANITIZER is the only patented system available for this purpose, it is a brand new, much easier way to finish your sanitizing job. Our device has no moving parts, use a 13/16 open-end wrench to remove the fill plug, add your bleach, use the same 13/16 open-end wrench to tighten the plug securely, so that the little blue O ring can hardly be seen, remember, there must be a hose washer inserted below the fill cap and is tight against the canister fill opening plug. This easy to use canister should last a life time. Simply connect your water hoses to the canister add required amount of bleach and turn on your water supply. Remember, filters do not remove all contaminants from water; only bleach is the proven method. The canister uses two (2) regular hose washers, one is used on the top fill plug area and the other is used on the female intake area. THE BLUE WASHER IS SIMPLY TO USE AS A GUIDE FOR DEPTH. IF YOUR SYSTEM LEAKS ITS BECAUSE THE HOSES ARE NOT TIGHT AND THE TWO HOSE WASHERS ARE NOT IN PLACE. EACH UNIT IS TESTED WITH 65 LBS OF AIR. confirm that both hose washers are inserted into your canister.

This clever unit takes all the mess and fuss out of sanitizing an RV freshwater system. The operation is simple attach one end of it to your hose, attach the other end to your water inlet, open the lid and pour in the required amount of bleach, then turn on the hose.

Loved the idea of this tank but it didn't even last one season. It is either the lack of thickness or the quality of the product because it split horizontally just below the curve.Either heat stress or inability to withstand the water pressure of an RV park.Buyer beware.

Product worked as expected. Used included hose washer on fill opening. Used a wrench to tighten until leaking stopped. Enclosed instructions tell you how much Clorox to use for 40 gallon tank. You'll need to extrapolate that to your tank size. I recommend this product.

This is a good alternative if you do not have an inline canister filter. It does have a small capacity- you may need to add sanitizer in batchesWorks best for super chlorinating fresh water tankThe extra washer goes in the top/sanitizer fill plug holeAttach the male end hose to the tank, tightenAttach female end to opposite end of tank and tightenwith the reservoir level, add the desired amount of sanitizer via the top plug hole, ensure hose washer is in place and screw on plug and tightenFill the water tankIf you have an inline canister filter, you can do the same thing by removing the filter and adding sanitizer to the larger body of the inline filter.

This thing works great for sterilizing our fresh water tank. I will confess that it leaked like hell when i got it and it took some fiddling with o rings and gaskets to sort that out but now it is as easy as one two three. Attach the hose on one end , attach the hose at the other, pour in the bleach, and turn the water on.... I guess thats one, two, three, four.

I needed something in line with water source (outdoor spigot) and motorhome fresh water intake to inject a bleach mixture for sanitizing the fresh water system. I was successful in connecting fresh water hose to motorhome tank fill then connecting inline sanitizer prior to connection to spigot. I then added bleach carefully into sanitizer prior to charging line making sure bleach entered into uncharged hose line, then connecting to water source and turning on spigot. The sanitizer leaked at the but it did not matter as bleach was all down line from the sanitizer. Not perfect or clean but effective enough to meet my purpose. With a little quality control, this sanitizer could be a great product and much easier to use.

I initially gave this product a 1-star review because it leaked around the fill plug. It has a blue O-ring on the plug that won't seal. It turns out that the blue O-ring is for identification purposes only. It doesn't seal anything. A hose washer is included for the fill plug. When used there, there is no leakage. For me, the center fill port is not at a good angle, but even using the center fill port is unnecessary because you can add bleach to either of the 2 hose connections. It's not rocket science! This device is a clever way to add bleach to your RV's fresh water tank for purification purposes and it works very well. Just make sure that you don't use (or bypass) any filters between this and your fresh water tank. Two ounces of standard 7.5% plain bleach into 100 gallons of water will definitely give the fresh water a chlorine smell. I recommend this device for use as intended. It should help minimize bleach spills when attempting to chlorinate your fresh water tank in your RV.
