Fits the m&p 5.7 perfectly to replace the factory thread protector that the paint was coming off of.

Ordered 1/2×28 thread protectors. They are cheap and work great.

Purchased for a 10/22 Ruger. They were a little long for the threaded length of the barrel but that is nothing against the product. The machine work and finish are very well done. I will keep them because at their price point I will not get stressed about losing another one.

This will work as it is represented. For a ban state protects the barrel threading without having that "illegal" muzzle brake or flash hider. Installation of this will be on a Kel-Tec P17.

They work fine on 1/2x28 threads, but each item is 5mm longer than I expected (I expected 11mm and really only needed 10mm for a factory Sig P322 barrel extension). To be fair, nothing the seller said represented their length, so I had to go off an answer that was given by a 3rd party, which was wrong. They are 16mm (measured with digital calipers), NOT 11mm as someone falsely stated in the Q&A section. The threads on one item in the pack I received seemed to have a little damage, since it caught a few times while screwing it on to clean threads - but I was able to work through it with a minimal amount of torque. The finish is just okay. The black oxide seems to be thin and/or shows a bit of wear straight out of the packaging. Unlike other reviewers, I don't think it is rust or a sign they have been used, just that the finish on them isn't that great. I don't see any better alternatives to these in the length I need, so at the price point, they will have to do for what I need them for.
