Aoocoom Titanium-Coated Step Drill Bit Set for Metal, High-Speed Steel Stepped Drill Set, 50 Sizes with Automatic Center Punch, Includes Aluminum CaseWhen I need a step drill it is usually into plastic or mild steel. However, I ruined 2 step drills from another set trying to drill into what was apparently some hardened steel. These will be the replacement bits. They look to be about the same quality as my old bits so I will say these are average. They do come in a decent aluminum carry case which is nice to keep them protected. Automatic center punch worked very well on some mild steel that I tested it with.

I got this for some light metal work and they've been fine so far. Just what it says on the tin. Quality is decent and it comes in a case which is nice. So far it's been fine, so no complaints yet. It has a good assortment of sizes

I always like to have drill bits on hand for all kinds of jobs, you never know when you might just need them. I had to attach some shelves to my rolling toolbox and these bits made quick work of this task.

these are the best step bits i have used . they are sharp enough to drill through steel without a pilot hole . several sizes for most applications.

Tried to enlarge a hole with the large bit and it wouldn't cut through the first step. I couldn't recommend these bits.
