Very cheaply made, and it did not work.Opened the box to use it for the first time and it would not pull suction. Made sure the cap was tight and all pieces were together and still nothing.EVEN if I could have gotten it to work, the design of this pump is awkward and hard to use. The plastic cup slides over a barely smaller cup, often time hitting and not an easy transition at all.Overall, I suggest you just find a different pump. Pay a little more for better quality.

Seems to be doing the job right now hopefully it will last a long time for the price you pay for this item it kind of pricey, it just seem a little flimsey but time will tell how good it is.

Great price works exactly as exspected. Transfers fluids from 55 gallon drum quickly without constantly pumping. Turning the cap on the handle loose stops the flow exactly when needed. As long as you have everything right lasts and works great. And if it breaks it's cheep to replace compared to metal pumps.

There is a little vent on top of the unit and it must be closed when pumping and opened when you want the liquid to stop flowing. That wasn't clearly explained. For the price it works great but the plastic quality is really weak so it is to be used carefully. I use it to pump water from a barrel into buckets. It saves on using an electrical pump. Gravity does the rest! Good unit! Update Sept.2022, the unit won't hold vacuum anymore. The cheap plastic has reached it's life capacity. Need to replace it after roughly 20 days total in operation.

I ordered one of these. I wanted to flush it before it was stored. After seeing how well it works, I bought another one. I didn't time how long it took to drain a 55 gallon water storage barrel. All I can say is you won't be standing around waiting for your water. 😃
