I got this for my husband because it was on his wish list and he loves it and says it works perfectly for his job. He said it’s very durable and great price for what it does.

Works well and exactly what I needed for the job. Issue is when drilling with the bit facing down (towards the ground) the impact sometimes causes the bit to slide out

No issues with locking on to ratchet unless your ratchet does not have a ball. Quick release holds securely with no issues. Love it and was exactly what I was looking for.

Bought this so I could use my 3/8” impact wrench as a driver. I was about to just buy an impact driver and I thought that I’d give this a shot. Works like a charm. I don’t know why other folks are having issues but I’m not having any problem switching bits. I’d give it all 5 stars but I have to see how it holds up.Okay now. I’ve been driving in 5” ledger-locks with this thing, a bunch of 3 1/2” wood screws and had no issues with it at all. Definitely 5* for me and saved me the price of a 1/4” impact driver.October 2025 now- Had this adapter for 2 years now and it’s taken plenty of abuse but still works fine. I was expecting issues with the bits possibly sticking over time but nada…no issues at all.

If you have impact wrench 3/4" are 1/2" then you must have this product LABEAR. Quality is top notch. Made in Taiwan. Best part of the product is adjustable screw on the bottom to set the depth of impact driver bit. Overall value for money and very useful.

I have a very nice Makita variable torque LXT 18v 1/4” impact driver. I needed to purchase a 3/8” impact wrench, and I REALLY liked the Milwaukee 2854-20. (I bought a battery adapter, a Milwaukee M18 battery to the Makita LXT, to take advantage of the newer Milwaukee batteries.)On a whim, I purchased this adapter. It’s fabulous! The Milwaukee M18 impact tool allows for very fine control fastening a variety screws, especially T25 4” construction grade wood screws. The adapter allows for the additional torque that the Makita, (or any other impact driver), simply cannot deliver. Fast, effortless, any easy to drive heavy fasteners into a variety of wooden materials. This 3/8” to 1/4” hex driver adapter is very well made, locks bits securely, and shows no signs of wear. I’ve driven it very hard and it continues to work very well.In fact, I like using my new Milwaukee tool, with the LaBear adapter, so much so, that I probably won’t go back to the Makita driver anytime soon. It’s that good.(As a further “feature” the Milwaukee setup with the adapter, often drives screws without the impact feature engaging, until the screw is nearly fully driven in. This allows me very fine control over the fastening operation.)I believe that it’s a great addition for your 1/4” hex “bag of tricks”!
