La pila le dura suficiente lo que sucede es que tiene es que configurar la zona de ahorro de energía y permanece prendido todo el tiempo es hasta que sale de la zona de ahorro que entonces puedes monitorear en la app el modo live o el de paseo, lo cargue desde que llegó hace 4 días y sigue con la pila cargada, monitoreo los paseo de mi peludito y sin problema, la app es fácil de usar y muy intuitiva, si requiere pagar una membresía pero desde mi punto de vista lo vale porque intenté usar un Tag y no funciona si no hay un móvil cerca al cual conectarse.

Easy to set up, works fine, especially like the low battery use option and the safe zone features. Bought it for my daughter's dog and her having bought into it and taking it over is a testament to how good it is. Does an excellent job of tracking him on walks and am sure will be very useful should he get lost.

Works well, this replaced a pitpat which was just not fit for purpose, anything down to 24 hours battery life and fatal flaws in the app that leave you staring at your phone instead of looking for the dog.Tractive (admittedly the xl version) at this moment has 50% battery after 12 days and every time I open the app it just shows me where the dog is. The reason this works is that it uses your home WiFi to know that it doesn’t need to be active and using significant battery, so indoors it is just ticking over, it just rings in and tracks when it can’t hear your WiFi, which in most cases will likely be all the time it’s at home and not escaped! I imagine it would be a lot worse if you spend all day away from the house with the dog, but it’s able to have multiple WiFi networks set up so I can add the ones where I regularly go and it just works.

Le GPS fonctionne à la perfection. Par contre l’attache en caoutchouc n’a pas résisté 15 minutes. C’est un appareil pour grands chiens, il faut donc composer avec la violence de leurs ébrouements.

I bought 2 of these for my Dogo Argentinos. We love to explore and sometimes they get pretty deep in the bush! With the live tracking it’s pretty accurate. AR mode is awesome. Very easy to tell where my dogs are. Even out on the prairies. Fully waterproof, my dogs are in the water daily swimming. No issues.Live mode is awesome as it gives you a speed reading. So far my dogs playing with each other have hit 32kmh.We Will be heading out to the mountains soon where I really want to test them out.Battery life is pretty amazing. I charged it 3 weeks ago when I first got them use it daily for at least 3 hours a day on “walk” mode. With many Live tracks to test and play with the new toy. Both are still at 52%.Overall I am very satisfied with this product.It is something I think “rescues” should look at investing in and put on new dogs they intake.Or anyone who likes to explore.

I’ve had the tractive XL for about 9months now and I love it.My Labrador retriever wears it 24/7 and it’s like it wasn’t there.The GPS works well, I’ve had to track him once after my dog started chasing a rabbit and the live feature was very precise and responsive.It alerts you when your dog leaves the “home” perimeter that you can set (either a circle or multiple points) as a virtual fence.I have tracked my dog from across the globe and even took him abroad and it worked flawlessly.The battery life is excellent, I decided to go for the XL for that reason and it was WORTH IT. I charge this thing maybe once a month and that’s it. The battery saving feature when connected to wifi works great.As for the health tracking, I love it , you get to see how many active minutes your dog gets everyday and you can set goals and compete worldwide with all the other tractive users. It also tracks sleeps and rest and it gives you a good idea of how well your dog is doing. It’s like wearing a Garmin or Apple Watch but for your dog.As far as solidity, it’s a solid little box, my dog has chewed on it and it held up just fine.A little tip: if your dog is super active like mine and loves to run and roll around I would put a zip tie around the collar and the GPS just to make sure it doesn’t come off as the little rubber holder tends to fall off from time to time. But if you have a calm dog that shouldn’t be an issue.Over all I love this product and would definitely recommend anyone with a dog to get one.

I am a previous owner of the halo system and purchased tractive for its battery life, which turns out to be amazing. The device appears to have three levels of location detection. These work extremely well except for the "safe zone" , Where the live GPS is suspended it's far too large. Second, there is no absolute override to allow for GPS tracking when you're in that large safe zone. I have not been able to get any technical support other than what is on their FAQ which does not address these issues. In comparison, the halo system has real time face to face zoom like technical support. Having said that, I vastly prefer The tractive system.

While you do have to buy a plan to be able to track your bet 24/7, the plan options in my opinion are very reasonably priced. This gps tracker works perfectly, you can set virtual fences that will send you an alert when your pet enters and leaves these fences. The app is very user friendly and my family LOVES to track our dog and monitor his health, sleep habits, and activity levels since we can add family members to view the profile. Overall, I can’t recommend this tracker enough, I wish I had bought it sooner.Our dog is 68 lbs so we ended up going with the XL size. It’s a little funny looking but he doesn’t seem to mind it attached to his collar at all!
