My husband uses this for his work trailer that we have to keep in the driveway. It is very heavy duty, fits good enough to have a little wiggle, and not get jammed. But it' doesn't wiggle enough to make it unsafe. It is super easy to take on and off, my 10yr can do it if we ask. It looks nice and simple, not a huge clunky box.

Works great so far, I'll know if my trailer doesn't get stolen. Easy on and off.

Fast shipment! Easy transaction! Item seems solid and well-built. Easy to place over the hitch. I'm very pleased with the product and the seller. Would highly recommend!

I bought this heavy duty lock for a horse trailer I keep at the front of our property. It is very solid, well made, heavy duty and works extremely well. It was easy to install with two different trailer coupler sizes included. It would be very difficult for someone to break off the lock and steal the trailer. Highly recommend this lock to anyone who needs to secure a trailer at a public place.

It is very nicely made but will not fit over any that but a low profile coupler

I wanted a coupler lock and it was either super cheap or super expensive - this was pretty much the only one in the middle that seemed like a good compromise. It's very sturdy, and I think so long as you're not the lockpicking lawyer, you're not going to be able to open this whacky keylock. The only downside is that it doesn't offer a way to secure the chains like the super expensive lock does.

This is the best hitch lock on the market. It is durable and easy to use. Unlike other hitch locks this one covers the entire hitch and would be very difficult to remove without the key.

I had a hard time finding a way to secure my heavy duty equipment trailer. It has a 5 position adjustable trailer tongue that's very heavy duty but not many, or maybe no, companies make a hitch lock for it.This one was the closest i could find and I figured it had a shot at working. It actually fit great other than the slot at the top meant for the latch that closes onto the ball. With an angle grinder I widened that slot just a little on both sides and it slid right on and the lock fit well. Now, this lock is very heavy and sturdy but at the end of the day is just mild steel. If I can grind it you can cut it. Fortunately, due to the design of the lock it would be a pain to cut this in a way that would actually release it. However, I expect that if you knew how these work and had a quality battery powered angle grinder with a cut off wheel on it (you can get into anything with one of these) it would take maybe 5 minutes of work to get this off.Sadly, that's probably as good as one can ask for any more. That's 5 minutes of attracting a lot of attention, making loud noises, throwing sparks everywhere and having everyone look in your direction. That will likely detur almost everyone. If someone wants your trailer and they're willing to risk all of that then there's not much you'd be able to do.I would love to see a gen 2 with a way to lock the safety chains as well!Overall this was the best solution for me and it very well could be for you too. I'll sleep better knowing that my trailer is locked up and that's worth the price of this lock. If a future situation warrants it I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
