Purchased this part to fix the tension motor on my NordicTrack Elliptical Model E9.5. Apparently, this part is pretty standard and used for various exercise machines. When when installing you need to pay attention to which way the cable is wrapped around the wheel. Secondly, you need to increase the tension to the highest position before you turn it off to give you slack in the cable to remove. I used a YouTube video for detailed instructions on how to replace.

My nordic trac had starting having issues. This was the part number on the piece. Looks slightly different but fit nicely and runs smooth now. Is a nordic trac ntel79820.0

The original torsion motor wore out on my NordicTrack ACT Commercial, and this has restored it back to being a functional piece of equipment again!

My Nordictrack elliptical model number is NTEL08112. The company lists 371887 as the resistance motor replacement. Someone in the Q&A also said I needed part 371887. Not true. I rolled the dice on resistance motor 193223 and when I went to install it, saw that the OEM installed part was also 193223. The replacement works like a charm and was easy enough to install. Nordictrack lists the part at like $85 bucks, and that's with a 40% discount. This unit was an absolute steal at $45.
