i used this tape to strap an additional ebike battery instead of welding it and now 1 month later i am using this tape for everything! i even fixed a flat in my bike tire with it lol. this stuff is very serious tape and i am the type of strongman that can almost tear a phonebook in half but i still need a knife to cut this stuff. i highly reccomend.

caution though... Most duct tapes can be torn by hand when applying... the T REX i always need the shop scissors... be ready... T REX went up in price for duct tapes, lesser brand can do jobs,,, always keep a duct tape roll around though to fasten things together till major repair accomplished or replaced......

This tape is thick and sturdy. And it has more adhesive on i that “duct” tape. I only use it when I want to tape things together permanently as it does not come off easily and will tear most softer materials.Great to have on hand for tough jobs.

I used this tape for a very tough job that required direct sun all day long. What a great tape. Sticks like it should & is so sturdy. JUST LOVE IT! BEST EVER!!!

A lot of BL Bla on package -but no information about using it outside in the sun. I contacted the seller - not tested for UV resistance !I wanted to use it on the roof of a motorhome -- I will not now. Nobody knows how long it will last!

The photos you're looking at are a cardboard UFO (about 4' in diameter) that I taped to the corner of my house to look like it crashed, and a spiderweb also taped to the outside of the house on the left side.The UFO was pretty heavy and with a large overhang like you see on the photo but it stayed attached for around 24 hours without any other support. The spiderweb stayed attached, under tension, to a brick wall for weeks and is still attached.This is not something you could do with ordinary duct-tape.The only warning for other buyers is that the cutter for the tape (which you will need, because it isn't rippable) is very sharp and poorly protected. I knew this and tried to be careful but still cut myself deeply twice. Still, worth it to have tape that will hold things this firmly.

I am looking for the old style cloth tape.. I had several rolls from the 80's. It was very tough and sticky.. It is still working on things . The new stuff,, and this is not the only one I have tried,, is cheap and much lighter and not as sticky. I have it on some outdoor stuff now and it has already peeled. The old stuff is still holding on A/C lines from 20 years ago.. I had ten rolls of the old stuff.. Thought I would never run out.

I bought this because it is supposed to be the strongest and most adhesive duck tape around. It is a good tape, but not as great as I imagined. The tape itself is thicker than your usuall tape, but the adhesive seems to be as good as any other. Not remarkably sticky. In a nutshell, it is a good tape, but I expected more.

You have to understand what this tape is meant for. It is NOT a super adhesive tape for everyday uses. While the adhesive is rather weak, the advantage of this tape is that it is fiber reinforced and has incredible tensile strength. Use this in applications where you need things to not get pulled apart (think rope), do not use it if you need things to just stick together.When using, it’s best in applications where you can wrap it onto itself multiple times. I used it as a backer in conjunction with a slab of ceramic, and it stopped AR15 rounds (M855 and M193).
