It’s very comfortable and convenient for camping trips. It’s well designed for a seat and very light weight to carry to campground site.

I LIKE THE FOAM PADDING. WELL CONSTRUCTED. A LITTLE BIT OF COMFORT WHILE CAMPING IS ALWAYS NICE. I ALSO USE ONE IN MY OUTBUILDING AS NEEDED WHEN WORKING AWAY FROM THE HOUSE. PERFECT FOR OFF GRID LIVING AS WELL. COMES APART FOR EASY CLEANING. ONLY ISSUE IS THE LID MAY BECOME DETATCHED IF FOLDED ALL THE WAY BACK. EASY SOLUTION IS TO HAVE A TREE OR ROCK TO THE BACK SO THE LID CAN LEAN AGAINST. GREAT FOR URBAN EMERGENCY WHEN THE WATER GOES OFF TOO.

So comfy to sit on and very sturdy. Fits on my Meijer 3&5 gallon buckets.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have only used this in a 'dry run'. Our intention is to store this for emergency use.It fits The Home Depot bucket well and is much more comfortable than several other that I have tried that don't have the padding. In my dry run , I didn't have issues with the pad sticking to me as some other reviewers have commented. If it did, it would be simple enough to put it back down.I do wish the lid had a bit more positive of a latch. However, none of them I have seen do, so that seems to be a common thing with a sort of device.

We were pleased with it. It worked with our butts anyway. Good fit on a Home Depot bucket and had a pretty good seal over the mouth of the bucket when the lid was down. Met or rather exceeded our expectations. Your butt may differ.Don't expect your home toilet seat experience, and be careful as the bucket is not exactly stable; it's a five gallon bucket after all. A little wiggle was no bid deal, but make sure you are stable while going from standing to sitting, sitting to standing, and twisting to wipe. The seat stay firmly on the Home Depot bucket though. The opening is plenty large enough to stand up and pee and not miss, assuming even a decent aim from the tall and the small.

It may seem silly to give praise to a toilet seat for a 5 gallon bucket but yet here I am. We have only one bathroom in our humble abode and two females reside with me, so the bathroom can be unavailable for me to use sometimes. I've been looking for something more adequate for a while because a bucket by itself is not comfortable at all so after an exhausting search on line I found three or four and read all of the reviews and settled on this one. it is twice the cost of the others I looked at but there are certain features that set this one apart from all of the others. The seat is padded, soft foam that looks quite durable. It is wider than the bucket itself, making it very comfortable to sit on, it is not made of hard plastic, it is a more pliable plastic that bends but doesn't break. It is easy to snap on to the bucket and just as easy to remove and that is important because otherwise there could be a mess. This seat is perfect for the emergencies that may arise when a potty isn't available or at the deer stand hunting or camping. This is a 5 star bucket toilet seat and well worth the cost.

I’ve tried a lot of types of portable toilets. Our house has only 1 bathroom so I use a bucket toilet in our bedroom closet 😉. I started out with the Reliance one. That lasted for a while but eventually one of the hinges on the lid snapped off. Plus, before it snapped off, it was a nuisance because the lid would often slide off of its hinges.Next I tried a couple of those handy looking foldable toilets. The first one was really short and the seat was really uncomfortable. Would be fine for a couple of uses but not 5x/night like I need (lol). I returned that one and tried one that was taller with a better seat. With that one, the lid didn’t have hinges—it was comfier and padded, but quite annoying for more than occasional use. Plus the inner seat would come off when I would take the lid off, and the toilet would partially collapse, so not something you want when peeing in the night (but really why would you ever want that?) The only plus of that toilet was that it was more usable as a stool than some lids. But not a very sturdy feeling stool really. Now this lid is perfect. It is super easy to put on my Ace Hardware bucket, but not loose. It is padded and a lot more comfy than those plain plastic ones, and I’m excited to have a less cold seat in winter. The hinges look wayyy more durable than the Reliance design, plus they won’t slide off of their hinge holder because they are set in place.I combine this with compostable bags and some of the eco porta potty powder. I was using kitty litter until this week when I switched to the powder, which looks like it will cost me the same as litter, but is so much lighter and keeps the smell and moisture away in the little potty life saver 😂.
