The description for these boots says "full grain leather" but they are the worst, cheapest PU I have ever seen in footwear. Not only that, they smell so terrible, it was like someone threw up in the box. The smell coming from these boots is unbelievable and unbearable. I did put them outside in the sun for an hour or two to see if the smell would dissipate; it did not. I did, however, force myself to try them on. I am a standard size 10 in just about every footwear brand and ordered a 10 in these boots. They were wide and sloppy with a thick pillowy foam insole which I can't imagine would be a good thing if you were planning to use them for casual riding, as I was. You'd have very little awareness of and contact with your stirrup iron in these boots. In addition, they were so poorly constructed, seams were not aligned and the sole was glued on crookedly. All in all, I can't say enough bad things about this boot. I would not even buy them for mucking the barn. I would not force them on a child as a first pair of cheap riders. Just a really terrible boot, I'm shocked at how bad they are. Returned immediately and replaced with an Ariat boot— a brand that is always good quality and reliable.

I was a little hesitant with this purchase but I took a chance because I needed some riding boots quick. These cuties are comfortable right out the box! A very nice quality and run true to size, I’m a size 7 and I bought a 7. The insoles are very nice and have a cloud like cushion. I definitely would recommend!!

My daughter has ridden in Tuff Rider boots for years. When she outgrows her current pair we order another. We have been very pleased with the comfort and durability of this brand. This time she wanted to switch from her usual lace-ups to zip-ups so she can boot up faster after tacking. These boots do not look, feel, or smell like actual leather. They didn't fit well being quite large in the ankle (very skinny 11-year-old girl in size 11 boot, so not really the fault of the boot). We reordered our usual lace-ups at double the price and were able to do a side-by-side comparison. I am very sure these are synthetic leather and not the "full-grained leather" advertised in the description. We bought synthetics when she was small, and they aren't necessarily bad and are much less expensive, but we would not have ordered these if we had known they weren't actually leather.

I bought these in the suggested size for me, size 9. However, they were too snug with the zipper over the instep and I had to return. Otherwise, they looked well made with very nice tread on the bottom.

Hi, I'm enjoying my boots alot. I always wear a size 7, but in a boot or sneaker I have to go up a size. I live in FL where its hot most of the year and I don't wear socks and the boot has a nice soft lining which keeps me comfortable. I tried the suede half chaps with the boots which I liked but the dye came off on my pants.

Love these paddock boots! I recently returned to riding and was looking for a value priced boot that would fit my wide size 11 foot. These fit perfect and very comfortable. They broke in quickly and are easy to get in and out of with the front zipper.

I just received these boots in the mail! They look great and fit my foot perfectly. I have a feeling they will be easily broken in, and hopefully long lasting.
