This was an exact replacement for a similar switch that failed in my DIY astronomy power box. Advancing age and meds made it impossible to solder wires to the switch when it was installed so I wired short pigtails to the contacts, installed it, then used Wago connectors to reconnect it to the box's wires.

Use to switch between rotary and Y axis on laser engraver. Works perfectly!

These switches work just fine. I probably should have bought something bigger, as my 77 year old eyes needed some magnification to solder fine wires properly without bridging between poles. But a younger hobbyist should do OK

Used these to build a two battery series or parallel battery pack. The switches are used to switch between a parallel configuration and a series configuration. They have had around 1.5 Amps @ 24V run through them and haven't failed or gotten warm from the haigher power run through them.

I tested all switches with an ohmeter for continuity, a few had no continuity, initially, until I mechanically cycled the switch lever, that fixed the continuity issue. I marked those, to use last! The rest all worked as they should.

Works as advertised. Compacts and easy to solder to, but don’t overheat the switch when soldering or the plastic switch body may get soft or melt.

I like these, they have solid engagement with position click and good feedback. I also like the rubber hats for the switches, they provide a sort of waterproof (not that a enclosed plastic needs it) face. The only think to be careful of is the solder connection, you must use a lower heat or they will melt the plastic holding them in and ruin the entire switch. A temp controlled solder station set on low works best.

This is a small switch that could turn on 3 different lights or 3 other lights with different voltages like the starboard light and an indicator light on the dash. I soldered wires since there are no spade lugs but, it works for low powered LED bulbs. I did use the rubber cover for the "dark" look on a power box (check YouTube) when I needed a double throw ( 2 separate switch lines) switch.

My job we use tons of switches, all micro, or mini or what ever you call them,, they solder just fine, get a decent iron or not, you tin the connection fast (within 2 seconds ) unless you going thru hole, then tin your wire, put through hole, hit with flux or put alittle solder on your iron tip to transfer heat, and there you go,, nothing melted, no problems,, all good..
