I've used factory BMW and VW fuel pump ring removal tools before. These are better than the BMW tool but not as good as the VW tool. The adjustability is useful for different sizes. I can't tell if the shape of the tool is intentional or not. It looks a little off. Works fine, but has questionable quality.

I like this tool! It's easy to setup, place the arm in the slot, install the screw and snug it. the back plate is nicely finished and thick steel, with a 1/2" square drive or use a socket.The Adjustable arms are Thick, heavy duty castings, and the 'teeth' are notched to hold onto your Fuel pump lockringI like that it can be used with Two or Three arms, and that it can be stored easily in a drawer disassembled.It's not enough to lower my rating, but I suggest getting some washers to put under the screws, as they don't seem to have a lot of overlap on the plate, and washers might save wear on the screws.
