Tough. I like that you can twist the chains up and lock them up together. Heavy gauge steel.

This is a solid lock with heavy thick steel and a nice powder coated finish. It fits perfectly. It easily slips on and off. Once on it’s not going anywhere without the key. 5 stars for overall build quality, ease of installation and use, value for the money, safety and security provided

This trailer lock is a great deterrent. It allows you to lock up the chains too, which I really like. It takes just a minute to take off or put on, so it’s not time consuming. It makes me feel a lot better about parking my trailer, as I know no one is getting this off without a lot of work on their end. The powder coating is well done, and the lock itself is heavy duty. I like that the keyhole is angled down towards the ground so that if someone wants to try and drill it out, they are at a difficult angle and that makes it harder for them to do so. My trailer isn’t small or cheap and keeping would-be thieves thinking twice about trying to steal it, is something I am very concerned about. I have also tried out a lot of different brands of this same style lock, and I can tell you that this one is a 5-star lock.
