This carpet rake is amazing. I raked my bedroom carpet and was disgusted to find that the hair I pulled up equated to a small dog. No small feat considering that I have a Beagle, not a long haired dog. After this I did a very thorough vacuum with my pet vacuum, which is actually rather effective as far as vacuums go. Even so, I raked again and was rewarded with a guinea pig size clump. Final vacuum and done. Ran my air purifier on high after that, as one would not believe the deep down stuff released. I don't think it's ever been this fresh in there. The rake is easy to use and assembled fairly quickly. The head and teeth seem very sturdy. The pole not so much so. The price seemed high to me, but the performance can't be beat and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Bought this Uproot Cleaner to help with the never-ending process of cleaning up the dog and cat hair off of the living room floor. No matter how much I vacuum it doesn't all come up. I tried this product and found it to work very well in removing the pet hair, however it does take a decent amount of elbow grease to remove the hair. I can usually only do about half of an 8x10 rug before I get tired due to the amount of force you have to put into this thing to get it to remove the hair. I have only tried it on very short carpet, so that may be a factor. Overall, I would buy it again. It will clean up a space very well and removes a crazy amount of fur you wouldn't even know is there!

I love this brush. I have two dogs that shed a LOT. I am always vacuuming but felt like I wasn't getting it all out of the carpet. I used this brush and essentially got a small dog worth of hair out of the carpet that otherwise looked clean. It works so easy to pull up hair that you otherwise wouldn't see. It's easy to clean because you just pull off any hair that sticks to it but its not really an issue. The quality is great and even with some aggressive scraping I havent had it bend on me. It's easy to store, i just hang it in my laundry room with my other brooms and pull it out a couple times a week before I vacuum. I also like the nice bright color! I highly recommend this if you've got animals that shed and other tools havent worked for you. This is the BEST pet hair tool out there.

I'm absolutely blown away by the Uproot Cleaner Xtra Pet Hair Removal Broom! As a pet owner, I’ve struggled with getting stubborn fur out of area rugs and off furniture. This broom works like magic, pulling up pet hair that my vacuum seems to miss. The design is sturdy and the ergonomic handle makes it easy to use. I'm almost embarrassed to admit my results resembled those of the infomercials and product photos. If you have pets, this is a MUST-HAVE! Highly recommend! 🐾✨

I shop on Amazon a lot, but I don't usually leave reviews... I wondered if this was too good to be true. It was not! Worth every single penny!!! We have a black lab. I vacuum weekly. I use a rhumba a couple days a week. Hubby shampooed 3 large area rugs only 2 weeks ago, It was unbelievable how much unseen black dog hair this amazing tool extracted from my rugs. It is lightweight enough for a child/teen to use. We call it our "furminator" but for rugs, not pets. I highly recommend if you have pets!!! Wish I had purchased this before now! Now I'm wondering if I can use it on the car mats in my car.... hmmmm.... I may buy one for my daughter who has 3 dogs, only one that "sheds"...

I now understand why I went broke my $$$ Dyson and Shark vacuum cleaners. I have several dogs and the hair on my carpet was unbelievable. There’s no way a vacuum cleaner could ever keep up. This thing is so easy to use and only takes a few minutes. I still use a vacuum weekly, but for daily cleaning this is the perfect tool. Here are pics of before, during and after, so you can see the difference.

It doesn’t work on all rugs—like a low-pile textured Berber. It works pretty well on low-pile synthetic rug. There are two sides, but I’ve found the thicker side doesn’t really pick up much fur. The short side grabs fur, but it does require quite a bit of “elbow grease”. I find it is helpful, it just doesn’t quite live up the the videos.

We have 2 dogs. One of them is a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix. She has long hair and sheds so much. We use a name brand "pet" vacuum and still have to unwind her hair from the beater bar.Pros:• Easy to assemble. Looks daunting until you read the directions.• Reinforced handle.• Lightweight.• Easy to use. Simply lightly rake your carpet drawing hair into a pile.• As far as I can tell it doesn't damage your carpet as it drags across the top of it.• Works great and gets up a lot of hair, more than I realized was there.Cons:• Wish I had found this years ago.• Seemed a bit pricey until we considered the money spent replacing vacuums over the years.We highly recommend this to anyone who is constantly dealing with pet hair.This is an honest review without any sort of compensation.
