My original purchase was to construct a wall and gate between a cinder block wall and a stucco surfaced wall. I have not done this yet, but I did use them to hang a retracting garden hose into a stucco surface using 1/4 inch lag bolts. The plastic anchors worked perfectly, but you will need a 7/16 inch masonry bit to insert the anchors into the wall, depending on the wall construction. They work well in concrete, cinder block and stucco. Happy with the purchase!
