Almost no elasticity so it is unusable. I returned it for refund.

Easy to cut and melting the ends together not too complicated. Not as pliable or stretchable as expected, so was unable to pull the belt tight on my 12 vdc solar powered motor. But the material had enough grip that I was still able to run it a little slack and make it work. Material does feel like it would take some tension and not snap.

Perfect replacement for belts on an old key cutting machine. I couldn't find replacement belts, so I made them. Simple to make replacement belts with a torch, box cutter blade and a vise. I wrapped the material around the 2 pulleys and marked a line. I then cut 1/4"-1/2" shorter than what I marked to add tension when finished. Clamped a box cutter blade in the vise and heated the blade with a torch. I touched each end of the o-ring to the sides of the blade, melted them and slid them off the blade and held them together for about a minute. The ends fused together well. Cut off the extra melted bulge where I fused them together (grinder helps) and installed it immediately. Worked like a charm! Easier than I imagined.

I cut the ends at an angle before connecting them together. I used a heat gun which worked perfect, then I sanded off the melted axcess at the splice. Very easy to work with material. Works great!

First time using this kind of belt and had no trouble joining it. I watched a couple YouTube videos on joining the ends together. The method I used was heating a utility blade up with a torch and then holding the ends of the belt against it and sliding them off and into each other. Worked great, made up two belts first try. It's a month later and they are still running great.
