Rigid Coupling
Rigid Couplings can offer a solid connection between two shafts with high precision and torque. It has no misalignment absorption capabilities. No movement is allowed between the two shafts and the machine system requires lubrication in many times.

Used on stepper motor and worked ok. The screw threads on the Allen screws strip pretty easy so be careful. Luckily I had the right size tiny Allen to tighten. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a mini Allen as it should because I doubt many people will have the right size Allen to fit these screws. Otherwise works ok so far transition between 7mm shaft to an 8mm shaft. I would of preferred brass. If this fails that's what I'll be looking for next.

The coupler works fine. Fits 1/4" rod nicely. But if you need to securely tighten the setscrews, I suggest that you go to your local hardware store and get several extras. These rounded out and couldn't be tightened any more.
