My expectation was a more matte finish & thicker fabric vs what we received - thin, lightweight, and shiny/shimmery. While I understand dye-lots and photographs do not always match 100%, the unit we received was lighter than the photo on-line. Functionality wise, it works. Just looks different than I had expected.

They look beautiful in the pic but are flimsy and cheap looking. Very disappointed in these. I'm not very disappointed in Amazon's products often. These valances have alot of white in them. Looks like fake burlap. Came very wrinkly. Hopefully will look better after being ironed. They do look beautiful pressed and hung. I give them a 4 to 5. Nice looking. I recommend ironing then with a thin towel over the top of curtain and an iron that has steam capabilities.

Great for the price. These are simple elegant and the fabric is soft to the touch with just enough sheerness to have light come through.
