Finely a pair of drum sticks in a longer length! Not too long, but just right. I'll buy these again for sure!🥁

Definitely found my new sticks with these! The reach is great and weight is perfect. For context, I’m a worship drummer

Nice and sturdy, easy to use, GREAT first pair of sticks! My son uses them on everything (including his electric drum kit) and they are holding up wonderfully so far, with a great sound.

I’ve got a few pairs of sticks from different brands but have used Vic Firths before and like them. I bought a pair of the Dave Grohl signature stick by Zildjian and liked the extra length, then saw these and thought I’d give them a try. These for me are perfect, long with a longer than usual taper and 5a tip means they are perfect for my playing style.Genuinely great sticks, really great feel, balance and response. My new favourite sticks

For years I’ve played the Vic Firth extreme 5B for the length but was always put off by how far back the fulcrum was. It made playing way more from the wrist and almost no fingers. With the freestyle 5B having a much longer taper than the extreme 5B, They are able to be gripped in a more conventional way and allow for much more use of fingers over the wrist. So if you are looking for a fast 17” stick definitely go with the freestyle. If you are more of a heavy hitter stay with the extreme series.

I liked the thickness and the taper on this stick and the weight was good as well. These were good for me for my mesh kit but I am still experimenting with different sticks. I started with zildian 5a nylon and another zildian 5a with rubber on them and I like them as well. I recently ordered vic firth red tip 2b sticks and I like the balance on them firth sticks I like because you can get a fulcrum just about anywhere. Really no negative points to make on these

Love Vic Firth sticks. I’ve been playing with them for years. Over the last 6 years I’ve used the AJ1 or AJ2. They are light and fast so I was interested in the freestyle 5a as to how they would feel being an inch longer. I’m not a fan of a standard 5a. These took some getting used to but I really like them. They are heavier but after playing with them a bit I found that extra weight and length to come in handy. I let the stick do more and the results are sweet. I feel like I upped my chops 10%.
