Look great. Nicely balanced and matched to each other. I like the shape of the tip for hitting snare and toms. Kind of a neutral weight like a ProMark rebound but lighter than the Firebrand (my usual stick). Bought it for the color but works great.

My favorite sticks, and the only ones that could've ever replaced the original Dave Weckl drumsticks that I swore by for years! Thanks to the modified 5A profile with unique tear drop tip, they offer the perfect weight and feel while producing a crisp and clear sound. Whether you're playing light or heavy, they articulate beautifully on cymbals and drums alike, giving a consistent, dynamic sound all across the kit. Ideal for drummers looking for a versatile pair of drumsticks that feel great and sound even better!

Think about a 5A with greater rebound. That’s it.In theory it’s a bit thinner than a 5A, but in practice I didn’t notice any difference in diameter. The taper and tip look shorter too. Somehow it feels heavier than a 5A.Although it has greater rebound and is more exciting than the American Classic 5A, I think it’s more difficult to handle it.Weckl mentioned that the idea was to make a stick that works for you, after his partnership with Freddie Gruber.

Pretty much the best sticks I’ve ever used. Perfectly balanced, they work well for most styles, and just feel right in the hand. Will definitely buy these again.

Ich habe die Drum-Sticks für meinen Sohn bestellt.Er ist damit sehr zufrieden, liegen sehr gut in der Hand. Auch optisch sind sie ansprechend.Wir werden wieder welche bestellen.

These are my personal favourites as they really bounce off the drum skins and cymbals naturally without much effort. Nice long sticks. I'm not sure about the colour scheme but they're not crazy like bright colour anyway. Dave Weckl plays fusion music but I use these for mainly pop and rock (comfortable to play these kind of music with these sticks). And they are pleasure to hit with.

A reasonably high mass stick with quite a chunky feel but well balanced & good whip. Perfect as a practice stick & particularly good to warm up on then change to a lighter stick to give you that " Billy Cobham" feeling. A bit heavy for jazz but great for soul, R&B & funk. I used them at a rock gig & they felt comfy & solid while giving a really bright "ping" on both cymbals & snare with great rebound on both. The harder you play them the more bounce they have. Not so sure about the yellow laquer finish as they feel quite slippery swhen you get sweaty & if you're prone to dropping a stick or two these will challenge you. If you watch Dave play you can see why these sticks work as they respond lightening fast but give a real attack that lighter sticks won't deliver. But be warned you'll need to be fit to get the best out of these.

Dave Weckl is a jazz fusion drummer, and based on the tip of this stick, you could classify it as such. However, I like this stick for all-around use. I used to use his old maroon ones a lot because I found a bag with 10 pairs for $10 and they are super durable. I don't think I've broken one yet, and I've broken a LOT of drumsticks. This new Evolution stick is even better than is last signature stick. It's almost the same, but this one is slightly shorter than the Maroon predecessor. I like that a lot. I never realized that the maroon stick was actually really long, making it a great rock-style stick, but if you want to play more controlled, or with traditional grip, these sticks are a better size for that.I would guess the weight is somewhere around a 5A, and the tip is rounded like the last one - similar to other jazz sticks.***Pros :)-Shorter than the last Maroon Weckl stick-Good for all-around playing styles***Cons :(-If you don't like orange, you're out of luck

These are by far the best sticks that I have ever laid hands on. In my opinion, the balance and feel is just perfect. When playing with other set of sticks and then quickly switching to these during a session, I can immediately feel and hear a great positive difference. Strokes and articulation are quite more effortless. In my opinion, these feel lighter than other sticks of the same size but still deliver power. The coating also feels great on your hand. My only small complaint is that paint will tend to chip off from the coating when striking cymbals, etc. on the side of the stick but this is true about any stick with coating. These are very versatile and I highly recommend you give them a try!
