Great item with maybe overkill packaging but it's not an issue. Be careful while opening with a knife, as I came close to slicing the tube. But, there's so much here it's easily replacable.I'm using this size for a water pump to repair a burnt out pump on a fountain and it works for this purpose. You cut to size and as long as you have the appropriate fitting for the pump (many come with multiple sizes including 1/2") then it's quite simple. Good product and way better value than buying it at a big box construction store where you might pay this much for a small, pre-cut amount.

I got this for a fish tank room to transfer water between tanks, and also drain to the outdoors if needed. The only drawback is the line stays coiled a bit, but it did seem to loosen up when it got warmer in the sun. So this might not be the best for very cold climates. The hose did not have any appreciable smell, and the walls are very clear.

It looks like tygon, smells like tygon, behaves like tygon. It's a well made, good quality PVC tube. I only needed a few feet, and I forgot just how much 100 feet was, so I'll have plenty of extra to keep in the garage for future projects.

As you can see in the picture, the 1/2-inch ID measurement is accurate since it fits nicely on the 1/2-inch pump connector. The tubing is clear and flexible. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the ad shows the tubing wall as 3mm, so I expected thicker tubing. When I measure it, it shows 1mm, not 3. It's not really a problem; I just thought I was buying heavier tubing than I had before. In fact, it is exactly the same. Overall, it fits perfectly on 1/2-inch ID connectors, it is easy to cut and use, but the tubing can bend and kink, which is what I was trying to avoid with thicker wall tubing. I'll live!

I got this hose to actualy use for pretection of my solar cables to keep them from damage being under ground. Since this material is very durable, it was the perfect item to ensure my solar cable is safe from bugs and weather. Shipped and arrived quickly.

This tubing seems exactly the same as the big box store tubing to me. They both have a slight plastic odor, which is expected. Ran water through it for a few minutes, couldn't detect any taste or smell in the water. If the price is right, go for it.

I do a lot of homebrewing and go through a lot of vinyl tubing. It's not that the tubing fails per se but it is tough to properly clean and after awhile it essentially becomes to difficult to sanitize.This is 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD, 1/16" wall food grade vinyl tubing. So this is essentially the same as I can buy at the homebrewing store but for much much less money. It even comes with 4 stainless steel hose clamps as a bonus.This tubing fits my standard 1/2" hose barbs so it is true to size. It is flexible at room temperature as it should be, but will stiffen up at lower temperatures. The low cost on this tubing will encourage me to change out the tubing in my brewery more often basically resulting in a cleaner flavor.Of course 1/2" vinyl tubing has a hundred used on the farm for fluid transfer, drain tubes, etc.Will buy again in different sizes as well.
