Sorry this product does not work as described. Everytime our dog attempted to climb on this float it would tip not matter how well we tied it to the boat or anything. Complete waste of money.

If you have a bigger dog like we do this don't work well for them. Our 76lb lab has trouble with being able to actually climb up the mesh and then get in top. The top is wider than it is long which makes it really weird for them to grip to as well.

The mesh needs to be more stiff to allow our 75lb dog to easily get up on it. She has to struggle to get out of the water. When she tries to climb the mesh gives so much it is similar to trying to get up a dock ladder. I am trying to figure out how to reinforce the mesh so it doesn’t sink down so much. As is our dog needs our help to get out using this much like she needs help getting up the ladder. Any suggestions?

The stairs to get up sink too deep my 60lb dog can't climb it to get into the boat. Go with the more expensive option unless your a DIY person there are loops at the bottom of the stairs that looks like you could tie it up to make it more supportive but as is dogs can't climb it. I even tried and couldn't. It was good quality heavy duty but if your dog can't climb it doesn't matter!

I cannot understand why these things are so expensive, yet have so little material! I went with a middle-of-the-road priced float, but it looked so much better than the rest. No reviews were available on the one I purchased. All of the of dog floats/ladders were constructed the same, with the same basic materials. ALL of them are outrageously priced - only about $40 worth of materials.
