This might be the worst $15 I've ever spend on Amazon. The idea of this product is great, but the build quality is terrible. The track on this the blades move is not held firmly in place, so the blades sway side to side as they move along it. A straight cut is practically impossible. What's more, the blades run along a plastic but, scraping it as they go (as opposed to fitting into a narrow empty space), so not only are the blades are bound to dull quickly, but they also rarely cut all the way through heavy paper and, when they do, effectively carve out new, wobbly lines that will affect their paths on subsequent cuts. this also makes it practically impossible to consistently cut in the same spot across several copis of a document or design.What's more, the rubber pads on the bottom of this thing are flush with the rest of the plastic, so they never actually grip whatever table or other surface you're on to keep the product in place while you use it.In other words, this product does many things, and it does all of them as poorly as you could imagine. I feel like I was scammed out of my money.Do not buy.

This thing is terrible. It is hard to get the blade to move, it's not smooth at all. I just threw it in my closet and ordered a cheap one and it works like a charm.

I don’t like the fact it doesn’t cut vinyl straight. It seems to push the vinyl. Will be sending back.

Product arrived and was hoping for the best. I currently have something similar to this but it's way smaller. This was going to be used for my sublimation paper that is much longer. This way I can cut down to the size that I need and it fit in this. At first. Very easy to use. Cut when sheets of paper very easily didn't have any problems, but when I started cutting multiple sheets at the same time I believe it was three sheets. Sheets that's when I started to see the the problems within the machine. Another thing I did not like was the assembly on this where it has the plastic that goes over the paper to hold in place can come off very easily. The blade not the sharpest that I would like, and for some reason I thought it would be much stronger and sturdier than what I got. At this point. Even cutting wood piece of paper is a hassle because the blade is already though and did not last not even 2 months and it's not like I do a lot of cutting on it.

Despite reservations about the accuracy and straightness of cutting after reading other reviews, I found that cutting two 17" pieces of paper was easy and precise allowing me to join an image printed across two 11x17 pieces of paper.Seems like a pretty good piece of user-grade equipment.

I make my own Origami paper and rarely cut more than one piece of paper at a time.Is this paper cutter as good as my $200+ paper cutter? Not even close. But for the price it gets the job done.I'm going on a trip and intend to leave it at my mother's house so I didn't want to spend too much money on it.

I have several paper cutters at home but they are all 12" long. This paper cutter is great as I can cut longer sheets of paper/vinyl through it. The one thing I will mention is that it would be nice if it had a pull out extension of the top ruler. If i want to measure anything more than 3" i need to use a separate ruler with this cutter. Other than that it's great!

I use this to trim photographs before mounting. The cuts are accurate and tidy. I've been using this for several months for about 100 or so photos.

I bought this paper cutter to cut down large paper into poster sizes. It works great on my heavy paper stock. And the nice big size for me was a must! It cuts my 17" paper with no problems.

Won't cut tissue paper but cuts everything else. Very nicely built. Glad I got it for many craft purposes
