I commend the seller for giving an accurate description of the five central characters!There are 24 masks included with elastic strings for wearing them. Part of the fun is that before wearing them, children can use the enclosed wood dowels to etch designs on the surfaces and reveal the rainbow colors beneath. The dowels are all smooth and they have two different shapes at the ends which will add more interest to the designs that are made. The only potential problem is that the rainbow paper is not as sturdy as I would have liked. Hopefully, it will hold up to antics of young children. This item is very reasonably priced and the masks could be used for other occasions, if you do not celebrate this holiday. They would be great as a party activity and prize.

This is such a fun idea and a great way to entertain the kids (me). Purim is a super fun costume holiday celebrating the events in the Book of Esther.Given there are 24 pieces, this may be best suited to a classroom, or for a Purim party. The masks are nice quality and withstood the scratching from a very ambitious 7-year-old.
