I’ve been looking for this type of mount for 1” standard plates for an awhile. They are not as common as the 2” Olympic plate mounts/holders. They work well and feel sturdy. They are long, probably too long in my opinion considering how thing standard plates are.

I'm really glad to have this setup and eliminate a lot of clutter. I bought the set of 4 and should have gotten the set of 5 but otherwise they're perfect.I installed them by first cutting and drilling and finishing a piece of 2" x 6" lumber then screwing that to a stud with heavy decking screws. The enclosed bolts penetrate through to the stud a bit, but the decking screws are the biggest thing holding it all on the wall.

Hard to find decent products for 1" weights. These worked well when put into studs. The directions are literally non-existent but relatively obvious how to install. I'm not sure how the paint will hold up as it doesn't look very durable, but so far it's fine. I'm also not sure if the metal is thick enough at the welds to hold 300lbs like it claims. I have about 75 per peg and it currently holds that without issue. I'll update if this gives. The foam pads are also not always perfectly aligned and I wish they had matched the bolts black to match the holders (they are silver which sticks out). But overall, they do the job.

Exactly what I needed for my 1 inch plates, I love that I can have my plates all organized now. I’m not sure how these would hold up for heavier weights using the wall anchors, but my pegs are drilled into studs so are pretty sturdy.
