With this item you get 6 pairs of ankle socks. These are just as nice as you can purchase at the big box chain stores and Amazon or UPS will bring them to you! These are comfortable and do not annoy with that ridge. These are holding up well in the wash. I would say that these are average thickness and certainly not winter weight. Good stuff and my wife likes them too.

I'm very picky with socks, and I love these. I think of this style as 'engineered' socks because they are woven in a way that creates different patterns in different sections of the sock. This helps in several ways compared to traditional ankle socks. The band around the middle of the foot keeps the sock from slipping down while still maintaining a comfortable amount of space for the toes. The extension at the back also helps keep them from slipping down in your shoes. They stay put - they neither bunch up at the toes nor do they get pulled tight and squeeze your toes. This is great! Also the basket weave area on the top of the foot is a little thinner and more breathable than the sole of the sock. This keeps my feet feeling comfortable and not restricted across the top. These are light weight socks. At first I was concerned because I have similar ones that I like that are a lot thicker. But after wearing these several times, I prefer these except when I need really warm socks. These are more comfortable in my shoes than the thicker socks. The fit was just right for me. I got the 6 - 9 size, and I wear an 8 or 8.5 shoe (38 European). I'm buying more of them. At the current list price (less than six bucks), they're a great deal.My only criticism is that the packaging was wasteful. They came fully sealed in plastic inside a full color print cardboard box. This is a lot of packaging waste. It's so much in fact that I considered reducing a star for that.

These socks are very thin….no cushion at all, and definitely wouldn’t want to run in them!

I’m a size 8 and these socks are great, they are not tight at all, so would work for larger size feet too. They are breathable and very comfortable. They are first see throughout so I guess they don’t have the tightest weave, but it doesn’t bother me. I really like how high the back of the ankle is, it prevents the socks from falling down in my shoe

This six pack of socks is decent. I wear a woman size 7 shoe, and the 6-9 size pack felt a little baggy and not as snug as some other brands. There were some loose threads on a few pairs, so I am a little concerned about how they will hold up after multiple washes. The fabric is good: my feet were still able to breathe because of the open, lighter stitching on the top, and they are what I would consider a medium-to-thin thickness ideal for light athletic activity or wearing with small casual sneakers. I love the design. I thought the "heel tab" in the back was a gimmick, but it is thicker and stronger than the rest of the sock and ACTUALLY WORKS at preventing your heel from slipping down in the back, protecting the blister-prone area at the top of the heel with other ankle socks.
