Questions & Solutions:
- The vinyl doesn't cut/weed well - we suggest adjusting the cutting setting(blade depth or pressure), because there are so many types of HTV in different materials and produced in various technology, which perhaps causes the difference in thickness or the adhesive.
- The vinyl doesn't adhere to fabric - it shows that the temperature or pressing time is not enough, please try higher setting.
- The vinyl melts after ironing - it means that the temperature or pressing time is too high, try lowering the temperature/pressure.
HTV Vinyl Application Tips:
- Step 1:Create images with the cutting machine. Glossy surface of vinyl faces down. Don't forget to mirror images before cutting.
- Step 2: Trim around the design after finishing the cutting. Weeding away any parts you don't want to be ironed on.
- Step 3:Transfer image with a household iron or heat press machine.
- Step 4: Warm/cool peel to remove the clear carrier.
- Craft Cutting Setting: Blade depth: iron on, standard blade;pressure:220; Speed: 8; Force: 4; Passes: 2; cutting settings may vary based on blade condition and type of machine.
- Iron Temperature: Heat the iron on medium setting (302℉–320℉)/(150℃-160℃); Press the design with medium/firm pressure for 8-15 seconds
- A CUTTING Test and TEMPERATURE Test are always recommended.

These were perfect for my 70s Hippie Rapunzel inspired RunDisney running outfit! I searched high and low for pastel colored HTV and stumbled upon this set. The colors were exactly what I was envisioning for the outfit, and the weeding process was quick and easy; the cuts were easy to see and the weeding portion was like butter! The design adhered to my shirt and vest in 1 heat application with my mini press (I didn’t have to go back and re-apply heat until all the edges were down like some other HTV I’ve used) I absolutely LOVE how my outfit turned out! I may have to rewear it for another race weekend!
