The one ballast I installed does not deliver consistent power. The color changes from blue to purple. This is due to the bulb running hotter from higher wattage.I want a replacement.

I installed these ballasts coming from a Morimoto MotoControl BiXenon harness. Everything cinched down properly, grounded properly, and all is well. I'm writing this review almost a year later because one of the leads coming from the little black box (the igniter) is loose inside somewhere and now the ballast is flickering. If I give it a tug a little, the HID comes on, when I let go, the HID goes out. I'm probably going to order the same set again, even with this issue being known. I am about to take the igniter apart to see what actually happened inside. I have to say, these were in an old Toyota Tundra that rides pretty rough, so eventually something had to wiggle loose, right?

Unfortunately having to replace my originally purchased ballast, due to my previous xentec burning out within 6months of use. Hoping these last longer.This unit was to replace a standard size ballast, and clearly it is inferior to the standard size ballast. The light isn't nearly as bright as they use to be. I hooked one slim and one standard size ballast with both the same bulbs, and it is a noticeable difference that this ballast is indeed inferior to the standard size ballast.

I bought it before and they last for good but this pair last only 5 months , very disappointed and were not as bright as they claim .
