Identical competitor products costing more come with songbooks containing 25 songs. This comes without and I separately ordered a songbook with 100 songs. Smart decision. Consider making the same.Songbook or not, this is an excellent product with 25 distinct tones, long mallets, and vibrant (child appropriate) yellow case.

The YAYUZEST 25-note xylophone is a fun way for kids to start learning music. It has a good range of notes, making it easy to play simple songs. The mallets are light and safe for kids to handle, which is great for beginners. It comes with a sturdy case that helps keep everything in place and makes it easy to carry around. The bright blue color looks cheerful, and the xylophone feels well-built for regular use. Each note is clearly labeled, which helps kids follow along while playing. This xylophone is a good gift or teaching tool for kids who want to explore music. It’s simple, fun, and does the job well for early learners.

Good volume and easy to use. Bit of an oversight to not include some way to secure the mallets, but overall it's a really nice starter xylophone for a kid. My musically inclined 9 year old hasn't let it out of their sight since they got it a few days ago. The notes sound pretty good, but I'm not a musician.

I expected this to be more of a toy than anything else. While it is a toy, the bars are accurately tuned and it's a full two octave instrument. The case is laid out very well, so it can be easily stored when not in use. I got it for my granddaughter for Christmas. She's still a little young for it, but she certainly enjoying banging on it. As she gets a little older, she will be able to plunk out tunes on it and have them sound good. I would actually use something like this for a novelty addition to some songs that I record for my own use.

This xylophone is perfect for my budding musician! The 25 notes provide plenty of range for learning simple songs, and the sound is bright and clear. It’s sturdy enough to handle enthusiastic play, and the colorful keys make it both fun and educational. A great introduction to music for kids!

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.I have been wanting to pick up a xylophone for a while but most of the kids ones just dont seem to have enough notes. This one includes a bit over 2 full octaves with the sharps and flats. Every note is stamped with it's letter (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) and color coded for the main notes. The sharps and flats are all the same color but placed over the main notes where the go in sequence. The mallets are plastic handled but feel reasonably good and the case is a reasonably sturdy plastic. I will probably make a wood case at some point to replace the plastic one but for now it is totally fine and even has a button latch that keeps it closed and flip out feet to improve sound quality through the vents on the bottom. Overall it's a nice instrument that is part toy part actual instrument.
