I needed a pump to transfer water from a 55 gallon barrel to my camper freshwater tank. The pump connected directly to the barrel and then I connected a hose to the pump.In low temperatures, I do remove the pump, drain it, and put it in an area so it won’t freeze.

Works well for water. If you use any type chemical in it it rusts overnight!
