This is easy-to-use with readable instructions and intuitive operations. It seems quite accurate and has helped us with planning projects. This couldn't be relied upon for true surveying but excellent for consumer use.

I recently moved to a new property. I had been walking the perimeter which was marked by surveyors using stone markers. I used a hiking GPS to get approximate distances between the markers so I could calculate the area of the lot. This GPS Land Meter makes this process a lot easier because it does the measurements and calculations for you.To test it, I took it out in my driveway and walked an approximate rectangle. The Land Meter calculated the area and the results were reasonable.GPS like those used in cell phones and hiking navigators are accurate to about 16 feet. This Land Tracker gives you a reasonable approximation given that metric. It's easy to use and comes with a well written color instruction booklet. An internal rechargeable battery is included as is the charger and cable so there is nothing else to buy.This tracker is accurate enough for most non-professional uses. If you have a need take land measurements and calculations using GPS, this is a good choice.
