well made. i find round veil better cuz gives you more space around face. material doesnt seem too heavy but still is cotton enough to keep bees away.

Not from the traditional shops but fabulous. I ordered it for guests that come over to visit and have interest. Before putting someone in it, I tried it. Light. Rock solid. Great sippers. Great built in vail. A definite recommendation.

I bought this for my very tall son who wants to learn beekeeping with me but he runs hot, very hot. I wanted to make sure this was made of cotton, some beekeeper jackets are polyester or blends and that would really be bad. This is a nice jacket, good quality, not too hot and a great price. I ordered him a XL and he is 6'4" 200 lbs.

I ordered this for my wife. It runs a little bit small so if you're unsure of your size go up one. The jacket is made of the same heavy cotton material as my own Mann Lake jacket and seems very sturdy and well made. I like this style veil because it allows for 365 degree visibility and it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Overall, this is a nice jacket and veil combo. for a beginner beekeeper.

Ordered a XL for my husband. We have an aggressive wasp issue every year and he gets stung all the time and I'm allergic. They come in the house, grrrr. He's 5'9" at 220lbs. His belly is around 36-38" and this doesn't appear to be too snug. If you have really broad shoulders though and a big barrel chest and your friends often call you "a big bear"...probably be really tight or not fit. It fits perfectly and it came in the mail REALLY FAST, 2 days faster than Amazon's shipping. It's NOT cheap paper thin material either, I'm thinking it's canvas material. It is long enough too. I worry a "shirt" will look like a crop top, but this a good length. Might run some duct tape for extra measure around the waist just so none crawl up inside with him. This may be more for my paranoia than a neccessary need because there is elastic around the bottom hem.Next summer: Goodbye evil bald faced wasps!!Fun but scary fact: black and white bald faced wasps actually REMEMBER faces and are quite aggressive when they see you again. Nasty little wasps so don't be a hero without your suit! Thank you for selling on Amazon in US sizes!READY!! AIM!!! FIRE!!!!! MAWHAHAHA!!!

I recommend this jacket to all my Jacksonville Texas Area Beekeeper Group and my students. I wear this jacket nearly every day doing bee removals and working in my apiary. When I give lectures and slide presentations I always tell the audience that this is the best jacket to have for beekeeping. The veil netting is very strong and does not tear easily. The round hat keeps the netting away from your face unlike the fencing type of hood. The hat has an adjustable strap in the back for different head sizes. The hat/veil can be removed so you can put the jacket in the washing machine and the veil won't be damaged. I wash the hat in the sink by hand. The zipper is very sturdy and I didn't see a need for the velcro strap at the base of the zipper. I removed mine and the zipper has never pulled apart. I also like all the pockets. I just ordered another so I have some on hand if a student forgets to bring one.
