I saw some reviews about the BSPT and NPT being reversed so took a closer look at the 1/8" product. I am fairly sure that the threads/inch is closer to BSPT for the male side, as expected and described by the manufacturer. I noticed however that the threads look too sharp. See the top fitting, which is this product. The bottom is a reference BSPT from a Panasonic pressure gauge, which I think has truncated threads but is closer to the standard.As my application will use Teflon tape, I suspect that this product will tear it up and leave a bigger gap between the threads than I want because the point is too sharp. My understanding is that the standard for BSPT requires truncating the top 1/6 of each thread and roundig it.
