I'm glad I ordered this emergency radio before we had a tornado in our area. We lost power and the only way to track the weather was with this radio and we knew exactly where it landed and we got ready In case it moved closer to us. The qualiy is great, is small to take it anywhere and we were able to change our phones with it. I 100% recommend this emergency radio!

Good emergency radio (&/or) use it to to listen to your favorite radio talk shows while you're brushing your teeth etc. Got one for my brother as a gift also, he just keeps his charge up by putting it on a sunny window sill. I like to use the USB-C charging connector. Having the optional backup manual chank charging in case there is an extra long-than-usual power outage is great too, but guess you could just use a car charger in a pinch as well as charge it up from a much larger solar cell than what comes with it. So you should always be able to find a way to keep it running as long as needed.

The biggest flaw over this wind up radio with solar and external charging is the handle. It's held on with Velcro and it covers the solar panel. You can't move the handle to the right or left - detaching it is not easy, attaching it is even more difficult. Other than that it seems to work fine.

Very functional! Perfect for worsening weather! Great for emergencies or just to have around. Great for camping or off grid. Small enough for packing but big enough. Nice price

Received the radio on Monday, turned it on on Tuesday to test it and make sure it works. Hooked it up to charge today, Wednesday, so it's all charged up, and I notice the strap is detached. Undo the velcro to the strap to find the plastic piece broken off and sitting inside the strap. Now as I am doing the last of my preparations for hurricane Milton, I have to worry about glueing this back together, with it being only two days old with EXTREMELY light use. Disappointed is an understatement.Update: As I was trying to glue the piece back in, using tweezers, the piece flew out of the tweezers and now I can't find it, leaving it unfixable. I thought using tweezers would be best since the piece is small and you have to get it just right, but clearly not. I'll take part of the blame, but not all because again, I just got this radio and used it VERY minimally so I shouldn't have had this issue to begin with.

This was one of the items that I needed in my emergency kit in case of a power outage. I need to ensure that I can still have some kind of communication with the outside world.

Great product just needs a more longer range rubber anntenae ill keep it it’s for emergency broadcast only mostly when I go in camping or in my RV. Sound is average, but what do you expect for the price you get what you pay for
