I've given these a good inspection and they are very solid well made indicator lights. These are plenty bright at just 12 volts but you can apply more if needed. You'll need a 3/8 inch clearance hole and a one inch clearance for the indicator light to fit in your project box. I cannot agree that these are waterproof but they can certainly handle being splashed.Cheers

I got these for a project I'm working on where I need multi-color indicators. Having these mounted already makes my life super easy because all I need to do is drill a hole. I tested at 12v and 24v and the intensity of 24v is a bit brighter as you would expect. I then checked the current and at 24v there was more current draw, which I wasn't exactly expecting since that means not only is the voltage higher the current is higher and that's a lot more wattage. Green LED 24v 10.6ma = 0.25watts , but at 12v only 4.7ma = 0.056watts. The intensity increase at 24 is not hugely more to account for the power. That said given my data, I would be more likely to want to use these in 12v (13.8v) applications. Power draw at 12v by color:Green 4.7maWhite 4.6maRed 5.0maAmber 5.0maBlue 4.62maOverall at the price point and what I can see for intensity consistency between colors is good.
