Shrinks well.

Great heatshrink although these get very stiff after shrinking. They do shrink about half their starting size.

Has a 3 to 1 shrink ratio so this is more universal. And a heavier gauge material makes for better insulation and mechanical durability.

Actually shrinks down at the 3:1 ratio. Great for uneven surfaces. Used it on the grip area of a couple of my target throwing axes that needed a slight diameter increase to fit my hand better. Adhesive lining keeps it in place. Nice smooth surface for release out of my hand when throwing. Great stuff. Lots of potential uses.

This tubing is 1/2 and I use it in the repair of power supply's as a strain relief for the AC power cord. This tubing is durable hard to cut when applied to anything. When I was shrinking the tubing to the connector and cord it actually creates an adhesive type liquid on the in side that bonds a heavy mil covering. I am going to purchase more and put it on all my tool handles that need replacement. This is nothing like you get from Radio Shack or locally- This is exceptionally high grade , you will not regret the results

I already had some small sizes of heat shrink tubing but needed a larger size so I didn’t have to cut and splice my frayed extension cord. This 1” tubing did the trick. Not sure if it’s actually 4:1 but it was able to easily fit over the molded plug and shrink down to the cord diameter 5/16” (8mm). It didn’t seem like it would shrink further but the inside adhesive coating seals it to the cord. A slight amount of the adhesive extruded out of the ends, but once it cools it is not gummy or sticky. The finished tubing is somewhat rigid and will prevent further flexing in that area.

This Heat-Shrink tubing really does the job. I used it recently on some complicated auto wiring, and it reinforced the edges where the small ga. wires entered connectors. Leaving them bare or using tape has created weak spots in the past, where an unexpected bump can break through, but that won't be an issue any more. Really good stuff!
